Conservatives,

The green left — and politicians like President Biden who support them — don’t care about anything but their extreme, keep-energy-in-the-ground ideology.

They don’t care about hardworking Americans who lose good-paying gas and oil jobs. They don’t care about working families and seniors on fixed incomes who have to pay far more for intermittent solar and wind energy. And they don’t care about the restrictions they impose on you, outlawing everything from natural gas appliances to fast food drive-thrus, while “green” leaders like John Kerry take a private jet to accept an environmental award. (Seriously.)

Pro-American energy leaders in Congress have had enough and they’ve introduced the POWER Act to rein in President Biden’s damaging executive overreach on energy. Will you contact your elected officials right now and tell them to support this critical legislation?

Radical environmentalists cheered on President Biden’s ban (sorry, “60-day moratorium” — and if you believe that’s it, I’ve got a bridge to sell you) on natural gas, oil, and coal development on federal lands, even though a ban will:

> stop the production of millions of American-made barrels of natural gas and oil, as President Biden’s policy would greatly affect New Mexico, North Dakota, and Wyoming, three of the nation’s largest natural gas and oil-producing states, as well as offshore development in the Gulf of Mexico, which by itself produces 2.3 million barrels per day

give up America’s energy independence, achieved in 2019 for the first time in 62 years, and put us on a path to permanent dependence on often-hostile foreign regimes like China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia

take more money out of our pockets, as we’re forced to pay more to heat or cool our homes with intermittent, unreliable wind and solar energy — largely produced with equipment manufactured in China — and higher energy prices raise costs for practically every good and service

But I still have good news, Lee S: there’s a way we can make a difference.

Pro-energy leaders in Congress introduced the POWER Act to make sure Congress, not the President acting alone, must decide the future of energy leases and permits on federal lands through a real legislative process.

This may sound like a bureaucratic change, but it is truly key to stopping President Biden’s executive overreach on energy policy and make sure America’s energy dominance — and our supply of affordable, abundant, and reliable energy — continues.

Now it’s time for pro-American energy activists like you and me to speak up and demand that Congress take action on this important legislation … before President Biden and the green left are able to inflict irreversible damage on our affordable, abundant, and reliable energy and energy independence.
