As president, Barack Obama has cynically broken promise after promise, often enough that it’s hard to believe his cognitive functioning is so impaired that he ever thought he could keep most of them. He wouldn’t, of course, be the only politician to make meaningless pledges to get elected.

Unfortunately, his promise to fundamentally transform America is one he has kept. If he is reelected on November 6, 2012, I believe that the transformation from the free Republic we have cherished will be irreversible and permanent. And that the country will then be hopelessly on the road to fiscal, social and political collapse.

Day One:
1: Look around you and see what you have at your disposal. Vines are useful. Identify the types of trees. Is there dried brush that can be used as kindling? Are there any natural shelters? Water sources?

2: Find tools. Sharp rocks for tools, sticks and branches for shelter and to use for roasting animals, shells, thin vines, thick vines, and any discarded items like twine or tin or aluminum cans.

3: Look for easily accessible food and water. Are there edible plants around? Nuts, greens or berries? Is there a creek or a stream nearby? Gather what you can and make a note for what to come back for later.

4: Build shelter: You will need shelter for the first night in order to stay warm and to be protected from the elements. Even a heavy dew can be a problem when you are exposed out in the open. Look for a cave or a fallen tree that you can lean branches against. Pine branches are great for insulation.

5: Revisit your food and water options. Drink from the cleanest source you can find and gather any food that you can collect and store for a day or so. It isn’t necessary at this point to trap and cook anything...

THE 'OBAMA ECONOMY' IS DESIGNED TO DESTROY AMERICA!

Obama’s Economy

President Obama believes that his economic policies are working, which begs the question: What are the goals of his policies? If his goals have been job creation, leveling of the trade imbalance, and economic growth and stability, his policies have been a huge failure. If however, his goals has been the opposite, he is correct…they have been amazingly successful.

Unemployment

Touting the recent Labor Department report that 114,000 new non-farm jobs were created last month, bringing the unemployment rate down to 7.8 % (the level it was when Obama took office) Obama says this is evidence that his policies are working and that, “We are moving forward again.”

Using a more traditional model, the actual unemployment rate stands at approximately 15%, and is by no means demonstrative of Obama’s policies putting people back to work. Mitt Romney has been right to criticize Obama’s assessment, noting the fact that this number has only recently dropped, and it dropped in large part due to people ceasing to look for work.

In order for job creation to merely keep up with population growth, our economy needs to add approximately 125,000 jobs each month. In reality what was added to the economy was yet more unemployed workers, albeit at a slower rate than over much of the last 3.5 years.

I know how this may sound to some, but I believe that this number has been massaged for Obama’s political benefit, is only truly reflective of Obama’s dreams rather than reality, and that the timing of this “increase” is pure political theatrics. While I have no evidence of this “conspiracy,” at least I am not alone in questioning the accuracy of the data. In a piece dated October 16, 2012, Christopher Matthews of Time Business News says that, “The Unemployment Report Wasn’t Rigged, but It’s Not Accurate, Either.”

1. 81 versus 62 is the Measure of Jeff Landry vs. Charles Boustany, Jr.

The Heritage Action for America (HAFA) scorecard, until the day I get around to doing one, is pretty much the gold standard for conservatism in Congress. The average House Republican has a score of 66%.

In Louisiana, thanks to redistricting, Congressmen Charles Boustany and Jeff Landry have been put in a district together. Louisiana has a jungle primary where everyone piles in together on November 6th and, if no one gets to 50%, the top two vote getters go into a runoff. The territory favors Charles Boustany, but conservatives would be nuts if they did not rally to Jeff Landry.

Jeff Landry has a HAFA score of 81%, well above the average for House Republicans. Boustany? He is at 62%. It’s not like this district is going Democrat. We should be able to have the most conservative person in the district. If Mitt Romney does get elected, we’re going to want to make sure we have as many conservatives in Congress not just to help pull him right and support him from the right, but to oppose him if he doesn’t go right.

That’s a simple reality conservatives must be mindful of. Jeff Landry is more conservative than Charles Boustany. Jeff Landry votes with conservatives more often than Charles Boustany. Jeff Landry is the guy conservatives should rally behind. . . please click here for the rest of the post →
