Is a Barack Obama bombshell lurking in the shadows, waiting to derail one of the biggest Cinderella stories in recent history?
While most political prognosticators in the mainstream press presume that Obama is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, they still wonder aloud if Hillary Clinton (or some other entity) has something up their sleeve.
The bombshell may involve the murder of Donald Young, a 47-year-old choir master at former Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ—the same congregation that Obama has attended for the past 20 years. Two other young black men that attended the same church—Larry Bland and Nate Spencer—were also murdered execution style with bullets to the backs of their heads—all within 40 days of each other, beginning in November 2007. All three were openly homosexual.

Don’t Let the U.N. Stick You With the World’s Debt
The United Nations is continuing its assault on American wealth and sovereignty. Unbelievably, various proposals are in the works to tax American citizens and send the money to poorer countries.
The threat has become so serious that delegates to the Republican National Convention have adopted a proposal rejecting United Nations efforts to tax Americans. Now, preserving American freedom and keeping our tax dollars here at home will become an official part of the GOP platform.
President Obama and extreme liberals in Congress are supportive of these various U.N. efforts, of course, and that is a big reason why the GOP is finding it necessary to come out against any and all efforts at global wealth redistribution.

President Barack Obama will not release his college records, his records from law school, his records as an Illinois attorney and many other records. In fact, he is even defying Congress in refusing to release records about the people's business, using executive privilege to keep memos secret in the Fast & Furious scandal.
But his position on other people's records is far different. Just a few days ago, he said that anyone running for president should have their life as an open book. If the drive-by media weren't in the tank for Obama, that stupid comment should have raised red flags. Unfortunately, it didn't.
Barack Obama loves spending other people's money and loves seeing other people's records released.
In 2004, Obama won, thanks to the other-people's-record strategy. His opponent was Jack Ryan, who was a formidable candidate. Ryan was a former Goldman Sachs partner whose net worth was estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Ryan had an MBA from Harvard as well as a law degree from Harvard. He had quit investment banking to teach in the inner city.

Republican senator says sea treaty might
pass after election

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) says she's hopeful that the Law of the Sea Treaty will pass Congress in the lame-duck session after the election, despite the fierce opposition of some conservatives.
Murkowski told The Associated Press the sea treaty will have better prospects in the Senate when the fall campaign is over. The global maritime pact would establish de facto rules for the nation’s oceans, and business interests say it will create opportunities for offshore drilling.
“This is a treaty that I believe very strongly will contribute not only to our national security, but will allow us a level of certainly in accessing our resources in the north,” Murkowski said.
Murkowski and Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) both support the treaty, and Murkowski has championed several other efforts to tap the state’s natural resources. The untapped deepwater oil and natural gas off Alaska’s coast could be a significant economic boon for The Last Frontier and the entire nation, she and many of her Republican colleagues argue.
“I don’t want us, as an Arctic nation, to abandon those opportunities, and we would be doing that if we fail to ratify the Law of the Sea treaty,” Murkowski said.
Senate Republicans thwarted passing the treaty in July by securing the 34 votes needed to block it. Since it is a treaty, the measure requires a two-thirds majority for approval.

The story doesn’t change, because CBO’s faulty analysis doesn’t change. Each time CBO does an estimate, it is begging the question, because it is using the same models to evaluate the stimulus’s effectiveness as it did to predict how the stimulus would impact the economy before Congress passed it.
These models assume that deficit spending is stimulative, so when CBO runs the models they find—you guessed it—that deficit spending is stimulative. All CBO has really shown is that they’ve run their models correctly.

At 2:00 p.m. today in Tampa, the Republican National Committee, led by Team Romney, is moving to shut down conservative grassroots activists. I’ve been on the phone with several individuals involved in the fight who tell me that the fight is not over, it is only just starting.
Specifically, the media is reporting that the rules fight is over because Team Romney is abandoning Ben Ginsberg’s effort to allow candidates to control delegates. Under an initial proposal, delegates would, in effect, be chosen by the presumed nominee’s campaign and not based on votes in the states and delegate selection processes in the states.
