grew from a modest beginning in 1872 as a day dedicated to peace. On May 9. 1914
then President Woodrow Wilson signed a resolution of Congress commending its observance.
The next year the President was authorized to declare Mother’s Day as a day of national
observance, and it has been a national custom to this day.

Ohio Budget Defunds Common Core Testing - by Logan Albright The Buckeye state is fighting back against the intrusive federal testing mandates that come with Common Core education standards. A House version of the state’s budget contains provisions defunding and blocking the use of PARCC, the set of Common Core aligned assessments that have students in tears all over the country. The Ohio legislature unsuccessfully tried to repeal Common Core standards out right last year, and Governor Kasich’s support of the standards remains a major obstacle to reforms, but it’s commendable that these lawmakers are willing to stand on principle and fight to return local control to the classroom. questions, and in response many people have attempted to define the
problem solely in terms of insurgent American racism and violent police
behavior.

that is a gross oversimplification. America is not reverting to earlier
racist patterns, and calling for a national conversation on race is a
cliché that evades the real problem we now face: on one hand, a vicious
tangle of concentrated poverty, disconnected youth and a culture of
violence among a small but destructive minority in the inner cities;
and, on the other hand, of out-of-control law-enforcement practices
abetted by a police culture that prioritizes racial profiling and
violent constraint.

was a time not too long ago when Americans were so patriotic, it was palpable.
You couldn’t throw a rock in any direction without hitting someone with stars
and stripes in their eyes. There was a near unanimous belief that we were the
shining city upon a hill, and that we were and always would be the greatest
nation on Earth. While it was mostly found among conservatives, it did cross
party lines to some extent. It was so pervasive that anyone who didn’t believe
it was pegged an extremist, or just plain weird.
DEMAND THAT YOUR CONGRESS VOTE 'NO' ON TRADE DEAL - TPP
After 35 years of researching and understanding the
root/cause of our problem.. the only advice and hope I can offer is
speak out, never give your power away and hold firm to the Constitution
and Bill of Rights... And most of all Pray, Pray, Pray... God Really has
given America to be free... Please remember our
Country/Government/State is not run by the President, Congress or the
Senate and hasn't been for 150+ years.. They are in the molding hands of
the Zionists/Illuminati.. Reminder: " As long as the International
Bankers, Run by the Rothschild's, United Nations, British Crown and
their Ilk, control the money supply, they care not who makes the
