WASHINGTON (AP) -- States can't demand proof of citizenship from people registering to vote in federal elections unless they get federal or court approval to do so, the Supreme Court ruled Monday in a decision complicating efforts in Arizona and other states to bar voting by people who are in the country illegally.

The justices' 7-2 ruling closes the door on states independently changing the requirements for those using the voter-registration form produced under the federal "motor voter" registration law. They would need permission from a federally created panel, the Election Assistance Commission, or a federal court ruling overturning the commission's decision, to make tougher requirements stick.

Justice Antonin Scalia, who wrote the court's majority opinion, said federal law "precludes Arizona from requiring a federal form applicant to submit information beyond that required by the form itself."

Audits, liens, garnishments: the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) goes to amazing lengths to ensure you comply with your taxes but what happens when they turn that energy to making sure you also comply with their political agenda? As recent scandals have shown, that's exactly what they are doing! Our response: its time we abolished the IRS.

The IRS has admitted to unfairly targeting conservatives, hassling adoptive parents, throwing lavish conferences, attempting to censor pro-life groups and has leaked confidential tax information for political ends -- and this is the agency we are going to trust with enforcing Obamacare?

Their agenda is clear. The IRS has admitted to singling out Tea Party groups as early as 2010, unduly scrutinizing their tax-exempt status, asking inappropriate questions and slow walking approval. Air Force Expert on Benghazi

This is a sad state of affairs. I think we have criminals in charge of our country and our military, at least the Air Force. This Benghazi incident massacre should never have happened but even worse for them to try to cover it up. For those who might not know, "Sig" is Sigonella Sicily Italy where we have a Navy Base. I've been there.

"Hands" Handley is a well-respected USAF fighter pilot. Here is his short resume and what he just wrote about Benghazi below that. If anything, Handley is pessimistic in his timeline of when F-16s could have reached Benghazi.

I think they could have been airborne even sooner and turned quicker at Sig. The decision to not try was not based on capability. We had the operational capability in every way.

I hope Handley's taxes are in order. His IRS audit is forthcoming.

This C.R.A.P. Simply Isn’t Constitutional

I’m no lawyer; nor do I play one on TV…but I can read plain English, including much of what appears in the Nevada Constitution. For example, take Article 1 (“Declaration of Rights”), Section 22 (“Eminent Domain Proceedings”)…

Section 22-1 clearly states: “Public use shall not include the direct or indirect transfer of any interest in property taken in an eminent domain proceeding from one private party to another private party.”

Yet what the city or North Las Vegas is contemplating abusing its eminent domain powers to seize a performing home loan from one private group of investors and then transferring that home loan to another private group of investors…providing the homeowner can qualify for a new loan.

If not, the homeowner could very well end up homeless!

Section 22-4 clearly states: “In all eminent domain actions, just compensation shall be defined as that sum of money, necessary to place the property owner back in the same position, monetarily, without any governmental offsets, as if the property had never been taken.”

But here’s how this C.R.A.P. (Community Resolution Assistance Program) will work:

Take a look at the above link. It is a slide show of mug shots for those arrested during the month of June 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. You'll find that 80 percent of those arrested were of hispanic heritage. These percentages are in keeping with any community where hispanics live, whether it be Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, Chicago or Dallas.

I'm not saying that hispanics, by nature, are more prone to criminal activity. (Though I do assert that the hispanic community aids and abets these criminals by allowing them refuge in their communities) And I'm not being 'racist' by offering this information. I'm simply offering a theory that you might want to consider when the amnesty for illegal legislation arises again in Congress.

My theory is this: We have granted amnesty twice during the past three decades. We gave this amnesty to illegals who invaded our nation, thus breaking our immigration laws. In essence, we gave amnesty and legal residence to a group (llegals) of people who, by their very nature, are criminals. This has been proven again and again by the rise of latino gangs, the rise in illegal drug activity, the explosive rise in identity theft and the intentional violation of the 14th amendment through the breeding of "anchor babies" as an entry point for copping welfare, WIC, free housing, food stamps and all other social programs.
