Saudi Arabia is the last country an American should respect, having spawned fifteen of the nineteen 9-11 murderers and continuing to fund and spew hate-filled, anti-Western, anti-Semitic Wahhabi-inspired propaganda everywhere in the world. But however grudgingly, we must tip our hats to a country with a coherent foreign policy that uses its military -- unilaterally and unapologetically -- to defend its interests and allies against real or perceived threats. Hence we might almost applaud as Saudi tanks boldly rolled through the streets of Shia-dominated Bahrain to guard its Sunni monarch and staunch Saudi ally King al-Khalifa against potential overthrow by Iranian-backed street mobs.

I was watching FOX NEWS yesterday, 03/23/2011, and heard a young lady in her 20s being asked, "How do we get America back on course economically?" The answer she gave was both heartbreaking as well as reflective to Democrat brainwashing.

Her answer, "Rid America of all Conservatives."

I wish I were in the presence of that young lady so as to get her understanding as to why she would even think that much less voice such a ill thought out answer. Then I remembered that answer to a political question I had asked of a neighbor.

"Two things I do not discuss are religion and politics."

Right now, Congress is at an impasse over $60 billion in "cuts" to an already bloated budget that will saddle our children with more than $1.6 trillion in additional debt this year alone.
But the fact is, these "cuts" represent just 1.6% of this year's federal budget which has skyrocketed 10.5% since last year and 40% in just four years!

These miniscule "cuts" would be like the average American family ONLY adding about $49,000 in unpaid credit card debt this year instead of $51,000 and then bragging about "cutting" spending!

The Democrats fled for one reason: To protect the forced-dues powers of union bosses to compel hardworking Hoosiers to pay union dues or "fees" or be fired.

AUSTIN -- After more than 11 hours of debate, the Texas House voted 101-48 late Wednesday for a bill requiring voters to show photo ID at the polls, increasing the likelihood that the measure will take effect in time for the 2012 elections.
House Republicans achieved a long-sought political goal by passing the bill. Now they will have to iron out differences with the version the Senate passed in January. Gov. Rick Perry had declared that the bill was one of a handful of emergency items. Republicans say their constituents demand the change to ensure election integrity.
"I have Democrats, Republicans and independents in my district who think people ought to show ID before being allowed to vote," said Rep. Dennis Bonnen, R-Angleton.

Michigan has finally joined the ranks of Patriot states that are cracking down on illegal immigration. Plagued by one of the highest rates of unemployment and foreclosures in the country, the Michigan House has begun the debate proposed bill No. 4305 which if passed will require law enforcement officers to check the immigration status of people they approach for an offense and whom they suspect may be here illegally. Additionally, No. 4305 would require government agencies to verify the immigration status of people older than 18 years of age who apply for federal, state or local public benefits. If passed, this bill would help counterbalance the drain of roughly 200,000 illegal immigrants on Michigan’s economy.

Thirty children between the ages of 8 and 12 sit at Kama Elementary School in Ishinomaki, Japan. The school has no running water, electricity or heat. The children are waiting patiently, reading books or playing cards.

The teachers don't know what to say to them, because the children are waiting for their parents to come get them after the March 11th earthquake and resulting tsunami. But so far, no one has come. It is expected their parents are among the thousands missing in this town of 160,000, 50 miles northeast of Sendai.
