"It ain't over till it's over," as the old saying goes.

And the fight for marriage in America is far from over.

The media would have you believe, and the radical homosexual activists would have you believe, and the liberals in Washington would have you believe that the case is closed because the Supreme Court ruling on DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) was the last word.

But they're wrong.

The high court's DOMA ruling, wrong-headed as it was, only struck down Section 3 of the law: this means people in same-sex "marriages" who live in states that allow it, can receive federal marriage benefits -- technically, once you get beyond the bluster of Justice Kennedy, the ruling accomplishes nothing more.

So those seeking to redefine marriage out of existence are engaged in a massive propaganda campaign selling the erroneous view that same-sex "marriage" is now "the American way." And that those holding the traditional view are bigots that have been defeated by those of a progressive mindset.

“I wanted you to be the first to know that today I formally announced I am running as a Republican for Assembly District 26,” the self-described “conservative Republican” wrote in an email. “Our neighbors don't feel like they're being represented by the incumbent, Randy Kirner, and I want to change that. I love this. Too many candidates are too afraid to say they’re running because they feel the incumbent is cutting the cheese instead of cutting the mustard. As challengers, too many candidates are afraid to even mention their opponent’s name, let alone say anything critical of them.

Well, um, if you can’t say anything bad about your opponent, why run against him, right?

Seeing that TSA Agents operating within our nation's airports are unarmed, the Administration's recent request for 3,454,000 rounds of .347 caliber "training ammunition" is astounding.

Government Security News reports that, with that amount of ammunition, "the TSA could fire off more than 9,400 rounds per day, every day of the year, to consume that entire quantity annually."

In a special committee meeting earlier this year, Rep. Jason Chaffetz pointed out that the Department of Homeland Security already possesses, per capita, more rounds than the United States Army!

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has declared, “Syria is a sovereign country that will fight terrorism and will freely build relationships with countries in a way that best serves the interests of the Syrian people.” In an interview with Russian newspaper Izvestia, Assad stressed that “the majority of those we are fighting are Takfiris, who adopt the al-Qaeda doctrine, in addition to a small number of outlaws.” On the alleged use of chemical weapons, President Bashar al-Assad said that the statements by the US administration, the West and other countries were made with disdain and blatant disrespect of their own public opinion, adding that “there isn’t a body in the world, let alone a superpower, that makes an accusation and then goes about collecting evidence to prove its point.”
Assad asserts that the accusations are totally politicized and only seek to advance the terrorists’ cause. Below is a transcript of the full interview:

Police threaten Christians with arrest for feeding homeless

Dear Conservatives,

Christians in Raleigh, NC have been told they will be arrested if they don't stop their regular ministry of feeding homeless and needy people on weekends.

Without just cause or legal citation, Raleigh police threatened Love Wins Ministries (LWM) for following Jesus' teachings of feeding the poor by simply handing food and coffee to hungry people near a city park.

According to Rev. Hugh Hollowell, the pastor and director of LWM, last Saturday, sausage biscuits and coffee were to be distributed to people in need.

"On that morning three officers from Raleigh Police Department prevented us from doing our work, for the first time ever. An officer said, quite bluntly, that if we attempted to distribute food, we would be arrested," the pastor said.
