UPDATE: The Leftist mobs apparently had so much fun creating mayhem at the Wisconsin State Capitol last week, that their union masters have decided to intensify the public unrest.  Obama’s political front Organizing for America first sounded the call which was taken up by MoveOn.com, spreading “Wisconsin Solidarity” protests around the country on February 26. 
No longer content to simply show “solidarity” with the Wisconsin Thug-a-Thon, local unions across the country are staging their own demonstrations protesting local issues.  Monday, February 28 teachers in Pensacola, Florida decided to stage a protest over a state plan to tie teacher pay to merit.  Other unions are enlisting former ACORN organizers to further spread dissent.

Elections have consequences, but it is looking as if the Democrat "progressive" Left in America -- like the old Soviet Union and other extremist, totalitarian movements -- is unwilling to accept those consequences and abide by the will of the majority as expressed in free and fair elections.  Public union labor mobs mobilized and funded by Barack Obama's front Organizing for America are turning out unruly demonstrations in Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and now California, protesting legislative efforts to restore fiscal sanity to exploding state budgets -- legislative efforts just as must be taken to the federal budget.  If the newly-elected state leaders fold to these mobs, America's future is forfeit.

Now that Congress has returned to Washington, they will be facing in the Budget Continuing Resolution (CR) battle with Obama and the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate what the mainstream media calls a "high-stakes confrontation" over fiscal 2011 spending. They say this NOT because of the impending financial and moral ruin of our republic if drastic measures are not taken to get our fiscal house in order, but to hype the fraudulent blame and hyperbolic angst they will illicitly assign to the GOP, should a federal government shutdown ensue.

Ohio Senate Passes Bill to Restrict Public Unions

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The bargaining rights of public workers in Ohio would be dramatically reduced and strikes would be banned under a bill narrowly passed by the Ohio Senate on Wednesday.

The GOP-backed measure that would restrict the collective bargaining rights of roughly 350,000 teachers, firefighters, police officers and other public employees squeaked through the state Senate on a 17-16 vote. Six Republicans sided with Democrats against the measure.

Firefighters and teachers shouted "Shame!" in the chamber as the legislation was approved and moved on to the GOP-controlled House, where it is likely to receive strong support.

The bill is similar to the Republican-supported collective bargaining bill in the Wisconsin legislature that has sparked national debate in its weakening of public employees' ability to negotiate contracts -- although there are differences between the two. Wisconsin's bill exempts police and firefighters from the collective bargaining restrictions, while Ohio's does not.

TSA Lies To Justify Illegal Train Station Grope-Down

You are no longer safe from sexual assault at train stations..

"The TSA has been caught in yet another act of deception after claiming that passengers who were subjected to an invasive pat down and bag search after getting off an Amtrak train in Savannah, Georgia earlier this month did not have to enter the station, when in fact according to firefighter Brian Gamble, TSA agents swarmed the platform as soon as passengers stepped off the train and ordered them inside the building."

The perverts who work for our government, under the guise of protecting us from terrorists, have now assaulted about 40 honest Americans, who committed the "crime" of getting off a train.

Power to the People!

Turns out this old leftist mantra didn’t mean that the poor and working class folks would be able to afford power to drive cars or heat and light their homes. Gas is now at about $3.40 nationwide, about $3.70 here in Chicago. I wish it would go back to $2.78—the level the left was bashing Bush over a few years ago!

It’s starting to be a real hardship for folks at the lower end of the bell curve on incomes. While I don’t qualify as “rich” even under the low standard set by the Obots, I can pay the higher cost without too much of a pinch. But it means fewer dinners out, perhaps a shorter or no vacation, fewer consumer goods bought. When the middle class and the rich cut back on these things, dollars that would go into the pockets of waiters and cooks and clerks and truckers got to the Middle East to fund terrorism instead.

We must never see Tony Blair as just Tony Blair. He is part of a global machine that has produced the policies that import millions of Muslims into Europe who never assimilate and form, by their agglutination, "no-go zones" into which the police and ambulances dare not enter.

They are the same people who brought us the millions of illegal Hispanics in America who bring with them their drugs, lawlessness and paternalistic views of government. They are a major part of why California is on the verge of economic collapse.

They are the authors of the global economic crisis. They have started wars and revolts in the Middle East and as a result, no Christian is safe in most of those regions any more.

Tony Blair is a member of the Fabian Society, a group founded in the 19th century to introduce socialism and eliminate Western culture and civilization not by force but by stealth.

They are doing a bang-up job so far.

ATF DOING OBAMA'S DIRTY WORK?

Funny how ATF can track guns at the scene of the murders of US law enforcement agents….after the fact.

Is it mere coincidence that after both shootings, ATF immediately arrested the “straw” buyers of the guns involved in the murders of the two federal agents?

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed with a gun sold at a Glendale, Arizona gun shop under the watchful eyes of ATF. That gun “walked” into the hands of the bandits that shot Terry under ATF’s Project Gunrunner.

Now we have a second dead federal law enforcement official, killed by a gun sold in the US and tracked by ATF.

Hundreds of weapons have slipped into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels via ATF’s Project Gunrunner program.

US Senator Charles Grassley has been trying to get to the bottom of ATF’s scandalous behavior. The Senator is being stonewalled by the Obama Administration.

The Project Gunrunner scandal is much bigger than anyone originally thought.

Besides two dead US law enforcement agents, how many Mexican officials have been killed by guns ATF “walked” into Mexico?

No wonder the FBI and the Border Patrol won’t talk about Agent Terry’s death.

Telling the truth would make the US government look bad.

Wisconsin Police Union Members Threaten Insurrection

There's a reason this blog is called Legal Insurrection.  An insurrection by definition is illegal, but that is exactly what some police union members in Wisconsin have threatened in support of fellow public sector unions.

The video below show a policeman (presumably off-duty but wearing what looks like a police-issue sweater with insignia) who addressed the crowd of protesters inside the Wisconsin Capitol building on February 24, and threatened disobedience to state government.

Suspect Sergio Antonio Mora oversaw cartel activities in the northern state of San Potosi where ICE agent Jaime Zapata was killed and agent Victor Avila was wounded after allegedly being mistaken for members of a rival drug cartel.
