There is a lot of concern the President may enter into treaties
that deprive of us our property and rights. Article VI, Clause 2 of the
Constitution For The United States of America reads:
"This Constitution,
and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance
thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the
Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land;
and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the
Constitution or Laws of any state to the Contrary notwithstanding."
Do treaties, therefore, have equal footing to the Constitution?

In a mind-blowing story of political correctness run amok, a controversy is rocking a Florida military base over two tiny decals stuck to the back of employees' personal vehicles. "I stand with Phil" is all the stickers said -- but it's enough, one government union argues, to get the officials fired.The "Phil," of course, is a reference to "Duck Dynasty's" famous -- and unabashedly Christian -- patriarch. By supporting the Robertsons' leader, who spoke out against same-sex "marriage" in December, the American Federation of Government Employees insists that base officials are somehow violating the Civil Rights Act -- even though the display is on their personal property. Fox News's Todd Starnes, who broke the story, interviewed the union rep, who said someone on base had reported the employee, "offended and disgusted that a senior management official would display the decal on their pod."

The Stupid PartyLess than twenty-four hours after the shockwaves of Eric Cantor’s defeat, the House Republican Party has decided to ignore the results as a meaningless anomaly.
They will expedite a leadership election to affirm the status quo with Cantor’s right hand, Kevin McCarthy, picked as Majority Leader.
McCarthy is squishy on a host of issues, bad on immigration, and not a friend of conservatives. House Republicans looked on the biggest electoral surprise of the year and are giving it the middle finger.
Kevin McCarthy was even one of the participants at the liberal "Mainstreet Partnership" retreat in Amelia Island. That group not only tries to obstruct the general Republican agenda, but also tries to actively defeat conservatives — including incumbent, elected Republicans. McCarthy collaborated with them.
