Now this looks a lot like a smoking gun.
If you’re a breathing person you know that there is a full-on crisis on our southern border right now that allegedly arose “without warning” in the last couple of months, with unaccompanied kids showing up in huge numbers — most of them not of Mexican origin but rather from nations south of there.
Obama and the other immigration screamers all say that this was “unexpected” and that we had nothing to do with the situation happening, but we must (for “humanitarian reasons”) accommodate these kids — up to and including busing them to various cities and then dumping them on the state’s welfare systems.

We wrote the following article in June of 2008, 6 years ago. It is even more relevant today with our southern border unraveling into pure chaos. Can you think of anything more insane than highly trained border patrol agents babysitting little children by the tens of thousands while drug smugglers and human trafficers cross over the border unimpeded? And blaming brutal conditions in other countries as the reason to allow these children to enter America with no means of support is equally insane. With that philosophy we should take them all in, millions and millions of them.

The horrific recent mass murder of 26 children and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School predictably has reignited the gun-control debate in this country. Over the past month, the Obama administration has focused primarily on guns in its initial response to the Newtown shooting. The task force led by Vice President Joe Biden has met mostly with groups either in favor of or opposed to greater restrictions on guns and ammunition. Facing strong political opposition in Congress from both parties, Vice President Biden and President Barack Obama each have suggested publicly that the president will act by executive order to restrict guns.
This trial balloon for unilateral action by the president raises the question, “Can he do that?” The answer is, it depends how far he tries to go.
