WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The top Senate Democrat said on Tuesday that he wants increased tax revenues to help replace the automatic spending cuts looming on March 1, a demand that could reignite partisan budget tensions.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Democrats are working on alternatives to the $85 billion in delayed, across-the-board spending cuts, known as the sequester. They will seek to end some tax credits and close loopholes – possibly some for oil companies – to find revenues to help replace the cuts, he said.

I am going to hold a rally at the Arch on the 24th of February, from 10am until 2 pm. The license has been approved and is in the mail to me. This rally is what I am calling "Come Together",meaning that those of us who dislike what our government is doing, how it is attacking our Constitutional rights and our way of life, no matter if you are a Conservative, Independent or Liberal, need to get together and find a pathway to building a unity to help us regain control of our government. Conservatives, we can talk all we want about fixing the message and following principles, but even if we fix both—we can’t win elections if we keep using campaign tactics like it’s 1999. For a real conservative comeback, we don’t need to become Democrats. We need to become conservatives with brains.

Right now, conservatives’ technological lifeblood could use a dose of digital steroids. But, some of us on the Right are on, dare I say, the right path.

Voter Gravity, the database technology tool developed with the great Political Gravity guys and American Majority Action, got some love from techPresident, but since the article is behind a paywall, I thought I’d highlight a few blurbs about Voter Gravity and the future of campaign technology.
