Mrs Clinton, the former First Lady, Senator for New York and rival to Mr Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary race, is said to be eager to become the first female president of the World Bank should the post become vacant next year.

As Governor I fought the Obama Administration’s plans to cut funds for missile defense in Alaska. So imagine how appalled and surprised I was to read this article by former Clinton CIA Director James Woolsey, appropriately titled “Giving Away the Farm,” concerning President Obama’s latest bizarre actions relating to missile defense.

Any mention of an Iranian nuclear weapon is taboo in the Islamic Republic, which insists that its nuclear programme is entirely for peaceful, civil purposes. So it is remarkable, to say the least, that an article has appeared on the Gerdab website, run by Iran's Revolutionary Guards, anticipating the day after Iran's first test of a nuclear warhead. Texas agency: Authorities take gunfire on border

SAN ANTONIO – Texas authorities said suspected drug runners in Mexico began shooting at U.S. law enforcement agents from across the Rio Grande on Thursday, forcing the U.S. officers to return fire and injuring at least three of the suspects on the other side of the border.
Few details about the early morning shootout in Hidalgo County were immediately available. The shootout began after U.S. agents patrolling in boats tried to seize a drug load on the Rio Grande, Texas Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Tela Mange said.

ANOTHER ILLEGAL ALIEN ARRESTED FOR MURDER!

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT ARRESTED FOR DEATH OF OFF-DUTY BORDER PATROL AGENT

Jose Arturo Arreola-Lopez was arrested last week on a Probation Violation warrant by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office. Arreola-Lopez was originally arrested in November 2002 on Transportation of Marijuana charges and booked into the Cochise County Jail along with one other subject after a group of thirteen was observed carrying backpacks along a drug-smuggling corridor.

Arreola-Lopez was convicted in the drug case and found guilty on February 24, 2003. He then was sentenced to serve 108 days but was given credit for 108 days time served along with three years of unsupervised probation before being released in the custody of the U.S. Border Patrol on an Immigration Detainer. Arreola-Lopez then voluntarily returned toMexico and a subsequent felony warrant was issued for his arrest for not making contact as required.

Much of his early state operation was also headed for the exits, according to a one senior campaign source. Several sources said the mass resignation came at a meeting Thursday in Gingrich’s Washington office.

In a surprising turn of events, the legislation replaced a narrower bill that was passed Wednesday over the objections of Republicans.
