IMMIGRATION OFFICERS PRESSURED TO RUSH VISAS, EVEN FRAUDULENT ONES
The Office of the Inspector General reported that top officials within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are pressuring rank-and-file officers to quickly approve illegal immigrants’ visa applications, sometimes “against their will.”
Even more alarming is that these officials are saying that the pressure to approve such questionable cases began when the Obama administration appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as director in 2009, when he brought the mantra “get to yes” to the agency.

He also has a separate bill directing the state’s attorney general to sue the federal government for the financial burden illegal immigrants have on the state. Illegal immigrant advocates are already gearing up for a fight to stop the bills which are not yet scheduled for a hearing.
