Union 'very concerned' members could face new insurance exchanges
Even though they’ll be charged with enforcing its mandates, employees of the
Internal Revenue Service are petitioning Congress to be exempted from
Obamacare.
The National Treasury Employees Union, which
represents employees of the IRS and several other federal agencies, is asking
its members to sign letters to Congress objecting to H.R. 1780, a new bill
proposed by Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., which would compel federal employees,
including the president, Congress and IRS, to participate in the health plans
and health insurance exchanges created by the Patient Protection and Affordable
Care Act, or Obamacare.

authority to go up against the States for anything. The States are
superior to the federal government. And if the people actually read and
understood the US Constitution, they would know that the so-called
"supremacy clause" does not mean that the federal government is
supreme to the States and/or the People. The Constitution clearly
identifies the federal government authority as being within the 10
miles square known as DC and/or the property owned by them. THEY
or NONE OF THEIR AGENTS HAVE NO AUTHORITY OVER THE STATES OR ANY
OF THE PEOPLE!! IF people were more informed, no one in the federal
government would dare attempt such things for fear of reprisal.

REAGAN WAS DELUSIONAL
In a
recent MuthsTruths.com blog post, I wrote that conservatives in Nevada should
put a slate of conservative GOP candidates together to challenge Gov. Brian
Sandoval (R&R-Partners) and the establishment slate of moderate Republican
candidates he’s assembling for the six constitutional offices next year.
That
elicited this overwrought email from longtime Republican activist Eleanor Mills
of Las Vegas:
“You are delusional! Your ideas for running someone against Gov.
Sandoval will not be successful. If it
was we would have a Democrat Gov. elected in 2014.”
Well,
I guess conservative Ronald Reagan was delusional, too! Because if memory serves correctly, it was the
Republican icon who challenged moderate, establishment Republican President
Gerald Ford in the 1976 GOP primary.
And
indeed, that challenge surely contributed to the Democrats’ general election
victory of the hapless Jimmy Carter in November. However, it also set the stage for Reagan’s
successful campaign in 1980 and his historical economy-saving/commie-defeating
eight-year presidency.
So sometimes
