It is long past time to eliminate anything *national* or *federal* with the public school system. Time to return all schools to the LOCAL LEVEL - not even at state level. Let the LOCAL tax payers determine WHAT is taught to their children. Not only will the parents then be more aware of WHAT is being taught to their kids but the COST will become a whole lot LESS. Each and every step up to another taxing level increases the COSTS but it creates another level for the parents to not be aware of WHAT is being taught (or NOT taught) to their kids. It makes having the MONEY follow the Student a reality.
