PERS: Due to the small number of folks who responded to my request to hit REPLY to let me know if they rec'd that post yesterday - I am considering a total revamping of the WGEN list. I may just send out a list wide notice telling folks to RESUBSCRIBE if they want to be on the WGEN list - as something is going on that makes me think there is a lot of blocking of WGEN posts begin delivered. With the number of sections I have to break the list into to get it out I am seriously considering this RESUBSCRIBE way of dealing with the censoring, if that is what is going on. Inquiries from several folks make me think they are not getting the emails I do send out.

[He could be cooling his heels at this base, waiting for the right time to fly out to a comfortable 'island of his choice' in the South Pacific, off of Australia or literally to any other super-secret locations on the planet........and I'm not persuaded with the medical examiner's report. Why did it take nearly a week for a report that any pathologist could have understood and declared within a few hours. Broken neck bones? - No photos of this man's corpse. No FBI or DOJ official allowed to view and verify the body. The cause-of-death 'report' is a red herring and a calculated diversion. There is NO WAY that this man would have assiduously cleared the decks around his cell so that he could commit suicide 'in the privacy of his own lodgings.' He cleared the decks & shut off the video feed so that no one would see or interfere with his escape, leaving a look alike to lie down on a pre-arranged gurney for the single photo op that was taken. Don't be fooled. This is a big charade. - CB]

After pointing out that the government's own studies revealed that the over $50 BILLION dollars spent (wasted?) on Operation Head Start did not have the desired results, and the children in the program were no better in school than those not in the program, etc... the comment I received in return was, "But it's a nice place to be". This essay describes how our climate of passionate self-righteousness is substituted for actual problem solving. You see, unintended consequences and bad results don't count. This name comes from the first lines of the Haftarah (prophetic portion) read on this day, which begins, “Comfort, oh comfort My people, says your God.” Today, the 15th of Av, is traditionally considered to be a day of comfort for Israel in history. For example, it is believed that on this day the first generation of Israelites had stopped dying and the new generation were now ready to enter the promised land, which we will read a little about in this Torah portion.
