When we look at the problems that dug the hole that Detroit fell in we are seeing exactly what Obama is doing to America.

When things got bad and there were not enough taxes coming in from its citizens the Detroit politicians looked at the accounts and saw millions in the  the Retired Employee bank account. Then, with no hesitation, laws were enacted to make drawing from that account to deposit the funds into the General Account, and 'poof,' that money was spent. 

Currently our President is doing the very same thing!

Obama knows that if he went to Congress, as he should, his requests for money to give to HAMAS and such expenditures, would be summarily denied. Denied, and rightfully so.

Obama's Treasury Secretary found billions in the Employee Retirement Account and after advising Obama of that fact serious spending began.

Follow up is critical. Present a list of questions. That will tell you whether or not your state rep bothered to watch the entire presentation. 2014 is an election year. They're all quite aware of how angry thinking Americans are all across this country.

Obama’s Treasury loots federal retirement accounts

The federal government blew the roof off the U.S. debt ceiling — again.
The RT reports that in May 2013, the U.S. Treasury exceeded the federal legal borrowing limit of $16.7 trillion. America’s  outstanding public debt is already $38.82 million above the statuary debt ceiling and now at $16,738,220,000,000.00, according toTreasury data.
Do you know how the Obama regime finances the debt and manages to stay “afloat”?
Answer: By looting federal employees’ retirement accounts.
Back in May 2011, the Obama regime first tapped into federal retirement funds.

Hesh Goldstein reports for Natural News that on May 17, 2013, America’s chief bankster, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, announced that the Obama regime (in order to avoid default) would tap into and suspend investments into the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund, as well as halt the daily reinvestment of the government securities (G) fund, the most stable offering in the Thrift Savings Plan’s portfolio.
This is the same Jack Lew about whom I had asked FOTM readers in October 2011, whether you would hire this man who signs his signature in this childish easily-forged scrawl:

The G Fund is invested in interest-bearing Treasury securities (i.e. bonds) that make up the public debt. The Civil Service Retirement Fund finances benefit payments under the Civil Service Retirement System and the basic retirement annuity of the Federal Employees’ Retirement System, and those investments are made up of securities also considered part of the public debt.

Goldstein explains that:
“In other words, for you people who have cushy federal government jobs, Lew is telling you that the government controls your retirement. They own it and they own you. And you people who thought serving the New World Order was a such a good idea, are you reconsidering your loyalties now? Military and law enforcement personnel take note on how you will be treated for your subjugation of the American people, followed by the total obliteration of the Constitution.
The government says they are just borrowing the money. How much of the bailout money has been paid back by the banks? Is MERS still in existence?”
Goldstein concludes that “Iceland had the right idea” when they threw bankers like MF Global’s Jon Corzine and Jack Lew (Lew had worked in Wall Street hedge funds before he became Obama’s OMB director, then White House chief of staff, and then Treasury secretary) in prison for their crimes against their fellow citizens. “Iceland struggled for five years and is back stronger than ever. We should have told Wall Street to go to hell in 2008. We should have already arrested the CEO’s of the six megabanks which created MERS.”
MERS is the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., a privately held company that operates an electronic registry designed to track servicing rights and ownership of mortgage loans in the United States.
Alas, people in Iceland have a better awareness of how the world works, whereas Americans only know how American Idol works.

SANDOVAL LETTER FULL OF MORE WHOPPERS THAN A BURGER KING

I just received a new fundraising letter from the re-election campaign of Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval (R&R-Partners)…apparently drafted by a teen-age fiction writer…that is absolutely mind-blowing in its disingenuousness. 

Philosophical differences aside, you’d at least expect a high level of honesty from a former federal judge.  But you’d be disappointed.

Right from Jump Street we get off on the wrong foot with: “Dear Friend.” 

In the immortal words of Nick Nolte to Eddie Murphy in the movie 48 Hours, “Now, get this! We ain't partners. We ain't brothers. And we ain't friends.”

And we ain’t. 

The fact is, Brian Sandoval, when running for governor in 2010, gave his word – and told us his word was his bond – that he would not raise taxes or extend the $620 million worth of “temporary” tax hikes.  He did both.  Those are not the actions of a “friend.”

Whether you think promising not to raise taxes was a smart or good thing to do or not, he made that promise in trying to win his election.  He gave his word.  Make a promise; keep a promise.  Isn’t that what we teach our kids?

The governor didn’t.

Through a series if bills aimed at reducing the public’s exposure to the power and abuse of the federal government, Rep. Eric Cantor has announced there will be debate and votes on them next week.  Not one of them will become law, mostly because liberals are using that corruption to further their agenda, but many will be embarrassed when the time comes to justify their votes.  The republicans can pass them all in the House and even if by some miracle, enough democrats vote for it in the senate, Obama will never sign away the power he wields through corrupting the executive branch.  Besides, Harry Reid can simply not allow the bills onto the senate floor.
