THE BAHAMA BREEZE BRAWL SPILLS INTO THE STREET!

The heated debate begun two weeks ago at Bahama Breeze at Citizen Outreach’sFirst Friday Happy Hour continues with an early morning wake-up tomorrow on The Alan Stock Show.

Alan has graciously invited me to join him on the show to continue in my role as Grand Inquisitor…and this one could end up being a real barn-burner!

I expect to include some rather uncomfortable questions of both candidates – incumbent Chairman Cindy Lake and challenger Dave McKeon - related to two absolutely brutal websites set up against each of them…details of which will be revealed later this afternoon to Silver State Confidential subscribers.

Not only is the very left-leaning Durbin beholden to LULAC and ATZLAN (ergo, a great supporter of total amnesty), he's also beholden to Big Pharma. These companies are not satisfied with foisting off their toxic drugs on us for obscene prices, they want to control the supplement industry, too, and they don't want any competition, thank you. We've already fought this battle a couple of times, but Big Pharma is not about to let this plum get away. Let's help them get over it.

House Passes Bill Banning Late-Term Abortions After 20 WeeksThe House of Representatives today approved a that bans abortions from after 20-weeks of pregnancy up to the day of birth.

The vote for the bill broke down on mostly partisan lines with Republicans supporting the ban on late-term abortions and Democrats opposing it. The House approved the bill on a 228-196 vote with 7 Democrats voting for the bill and 6 Republicans voting against it. (See end for how members voted).

1. CBO’s Unicorn Cost Study on Amnesty

Repealing Obamacare will increase the deficit by $109 billion over 10 years.

That was a headline from a CBO report in May when Republicans voted on full repeal of Obamacare. Somehow, when it comes to ascertaining the costs of wrongheaded policy, CBO wants us to engage in willing suspension of disbelief. The most costly entitlement will actually reduce the deficit, they claim. In Washington, up is down and down is up.

We are now seeing the same thing with the amnesty/immigration deform bill. You need not be an actuary to understand that 11 million poor illegals and tens of millions of other poor legal immigrants and guest workers, along with their American-born children, will wind up receiving a lot more in benefits that they pay in taxes. Yet, CBO will have you believe that this bill will actually reduce the deficit over 10 and 20 years by $197 billion and $700 billion respectively.
