Well, I didn’t make it to the Occupy Wall Street or Occupy Las Vegas protests, but this week I did venture through the Occupy Inner Harbor in Baltimore and Occupy McPherson Square in Washington, DC. And I had to break out the ol’ Thesaurus to come up with all the appropriate words to describe the “massive” (had to be at least 3-4 dozen “occupiers” at each location!) contingent of protesters I witnessed at each venue. The American Civil Liberties Union and the National Immigration Law Center have joined ranks with a number of smaller pro-amnesty organizations to file a federal lawsuit yesterday blocking South Carolina’s new immigration law, the latest in a series of crackdowns on illegal immigration in the southern states. The suit contends the law is unconstitutional, invites racial profiling and interferes with federal law. Set to take effect
