CHUCK’S PICKS: STATE SENATE

In 1994, when Republicans had a shot at taking majority control of the U.S. House of Representatives, they ran on a conservative platform – the “Contract with America” – which outlined exactly what they’d do if, in fact, they won majority control of the House.

This year, Republicans in Nevada have a shot at taking majority control of the State Senate. To do so, they need to win four out of the five competitive races.  And as best as I can figure, here’s the platform they’re running on:

We’re moderates.  Give us the majority and we’ll re-impose $620 million worth of “temporary” tax hikes – including a doubling of the “job-killing” payroll tax – in order to dump more money into the “failure factories” known as our public schools, including $20 million to teach the children of illegal immigrants how to speak English.

Wow.  I mean, what conservative can’t get excited about THAT agenda, right?

BENGHAZI-GATE: Did two heroic SEALs ruin Obama's October Surprise? [UPDATED!]

It's a conspiracy theory, to be sure, but "Kozy" asserts the Benghazi attack was an "October Surprise"gone awry thanks to two SEALs who weren't even supposed to be in Benghazi.

The scenario is both simple and plausible:

• In June, Egyptian President Morsi pledged to secure the release of 'The Blind Sheikh', the extremist cleric responsible for the first World Trade Center attack.

• Eager to accommodate Morsi and strengthen the U.S. relationship with Egypt, Obama's henchmen formulate a two-step cover story. The first step is a video that no one has seen, which was released in July.

• Next, strip security from the Libyan Ambassador, despite pleas from a variety of quarters for more security, not less. In essence, remove any barriers to using the Ambassador as a hostage.

IMPLAUSIBLE COINCIDENCES THAT MUST BE CONSIDERED ABOUT OBAMA

As I noted in the introduction to my book, The Obama Timeline, a jury at a murder trial will often find the accumulated circumstantial evidence so overwhelming that a guilty verdict is obvious—even though there may be no witness to the crime. “The jurors in the Scott Peterson trial believed the collection of evidence more than they believed Scott Peterson. Among other things, the jury thought that being arrested with $15,000 in cash, recently-dyed hair, a newly-grown goatee, four cell phones, camping equipment, a map to a new girlfriend’s house, a gun, and his brother’s drivers license certainly did not paint a picture of a grieving husband who had nothing to do with his pregnant wife’s disappearance and murder.”

In the four years I have been gathering information about—and evidence against—Barack Hussein Obama, I have encountered hundreds of coincidences that strike me as amazing. None of those coincidences, by themselves, may mean much. But taken as a whole it is almost impossible to believe they were all the result of chance. Consider the Obama-related coincidences:

Will the real life story of incredible bravery, and the extreme courage of warriors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods be lost just because of Machiavellian politics ?

The infamous troika that is responsible for bailing out failed nations includes the IMF, of which we are a naive and credulous member.

If we lend money to Greece or Spain, for example, as part of this international racketeering scheme, and they default, we lose big money. That is you and I, the taxpayers.

We really need to get out of this dangerous high-stakes casino game by leaving the IMF.

We don't owe Greece or Spain a dime!

But if it does happen, we could sue the eurozone, because Greece was allowed to enter it even though it was widely known that they had cooked the books to be eligible. In other words, it was fraud.
