On Tuesday, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for morning hour and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be posted until 6:30 p.m.

Motion to go to Conference on H.R. 4310 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 and Democratic Motion to Instruct Conferees

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12TH, AND THE BALANCE OF THE WEEK
On Wednesday, the House will meet at 10:00 a.m. for morning hour and 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.

On Thursday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business. Last votes expected no later than 3:00 p.m.

On Friday, no votes are expected.

Legislation Considered Under Suspension of the Rules:

Dear Conservatives, 

Freedom is on the march in Michigan.

On Thursday, the Michigan Senate voted to pass both Private Sector and Public Sector Right to Work laws, and a final vote is set for Tuesday in the House.

While no vote can be taken for granted, the Governor announced that if Right to Work reaches his desk, he will sign it and make free choice for workers the law of the land in Michigan.

This is BIG NEWS!

Michigan has long been a stronghold of forced unionism, and a posterchild for the horrors of unchecked union-boss power.

And Big Labor's reaction has been predictably ugly: Storming the legislature. Shoving Right to Work supporters. Cutting down pro-Right to Work signs.

And the goon squads are just getting started.

     Americans are no longer citizens of a republic, but subjects of a reigning oligarchy composed of self-serving politicians, who are subservient to international financiers and enabled by a dishonest and partisan press.

     The oligarchy operates the government as a “kleptocracy,” which exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population with no longer any pretense of honest public service. It is a government of thieves, where politicians and bureaucrats exploit their posts for personal gain with ever-increasing budget deficits.

     Through legislation and executive orders, the oligarchy then shifts the burden for debt repayment onto ordinary working people and absolves itself of any responsibility for creating the liability in the first place.     LINK

How to Fix the Nevada GOP in 10 Seconds or Less

Conventional wisdom has it that the Nevada Republican Party is irrelevant because it’s broke. Allow me to suggest that the party is broke because it’s irrelevant. And here’s how it can fix that situation with a simple change to its modus operandi and without spending a dime.

Pre-primary endorsements.

Thanks in large part to the destructive side effects of McCain-Feingold, the party’s relevance has pretty much been severely limited to its ability to send political mail at the non-profit bulk rate. But as we saw in this last election – where non-profit political mail was sent via the Idaho and Colorado parties instead of the Nevada GOP – even that advantage can be circumvented by monied interests.

However, while big dollar donors can outspend the Nevada GOP a million to one, the one thing their money can’t buy is the state party’s version of the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. The “establishment” GOP can produce all the ads they want under the monikers of “Team Nevada” or “American Crossroads” or whatever, but what they can’t say is, “Endorsed by the Nevada Republican Party.”

Today saw the release of the November jobs numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The news is that Hurricane Sandy did not affect hiring. 146,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate edged down to 7.7%, the lowest rate since September of 2008. Revisions brought worse news. 49,000 fewer jobs were created in September and October than originally reported.

Obama: Give me Dictatorial Powers or I’ll Take your Country out

Well…well. The Obama has finally begun his now-open for all to see and hear demands for a dictatorship over the [former] United States of America. A few days ago, Dictator-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama laid out his demands to Congress for not yet pushing the current USSA (aka “Amerika”) and its people over the ostensible fiscal cliff.

These demands include:

· a doubling of his campaign “promise” to $1.6 Trillions in new taxes levied on the American people (which will decimate what’s left of the middle-class…his intent all along),

· an immediate funding (to Obama) of $50Billions (to be used for political purposes as he sees fit…in other words a “gift” to him personally for any political purposes he deems necessary)

· and personal unlimited sole authority to raise the USSA’s debt ceiling as he desires…whenever he wants.

· Translation: Obama now demands full dictatorial powers over the US economy and theelimination of Congressional authority—or even input—in all economic matters.

· In exchange, Obama said he “may” consider spending less of the taxpayers’ (aka “serfs”) money—but, he did not say it was a guarantee.

We discovered a day or so ago that these most recent Obama Demands are not negotiable.

KEEP THE PRESSURE ON AND STOP WHOLESALE MURDER

Dear Conservatives,

More than two-thousand years ago Herod ordered the massacre of thousands of innocent children around Bethlehem in order to protect his own selfish interests.

While that tyrant's horrifying and brutal slaughter of the most vulnerable is rightfully condemned, we are allowing something as equally sickening to go on right in our backyard.

Today that slaughter has taken on a different name.

Abortion -- and the modern-day Herod is the abortion lobby.

Much like Herod from biblical days, their agenda is to claim the lives of innocent unborn children, only on a much grander scale.

This slaughter must be stopped.

Which is why your National Pro-Life Alliance will not be easing up on Members of Congress one single iota.

With the elections over, some politicians may think that they can relax, sit back, kick up their feet for a while and that the pressure from pro-lifers will let up.

They couldn't be more wrong.
