We all know that many of the liberal politicians in D.C. are hypocrites in their quest to expand government (remember Al "Green" Gore's $30,000 per year electric bill), but this takes it to a new level.
Senator Harry Reid, after leading the efforts to pass ObamaCare, has now decided that while the law is good enough for the American People, it is not good enough for his top congressional staff. As millions of Americans receive cancellation notices due to ObamaCare, Harry Reid has allowed his congressional employees to continue on their federal employee health care plan, rather than enter the exchange.
First, kudos to our Congressman Vern Buchanan. Even though he strongly opposed ObamaCare and has fought to repeal the law, he realizes that he and his staff are not above the American People.
Second, lets send a message to Harry Reid -
SIGN OUR PETITION - If ObamaCare is not good enough for Harry Reid's Congressional staff, it is not good enough for the American People!

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, a liberal
who is well known and well respected in progressive circles, said what
most Republicans in Congress would not.
 In regards to the constant changing of his 'signature legislation' Obamacare, Turley said Obama had “claimed the right of the king to essentially stand above the law.” Why? Because he has no constitutional authority to make such changes. |
