Edinei Machado, who is a U.S. citizen, comments: Sometimes I wonder how wise God is. I explain: Do you have ever imagined if John McCain had won the 2008 election? Obama is a disaster, but imagine if McCain had won! McCain seems a demon-possessed man. Day and night he calls for war in Syria, to “liberate” the Syrian people. Imagine: his will was to have U.S. troops in Ukraine to “liberate” the Ukrainian people. Keep imagining: He was one of the Bush enthusiasts, who saw a paradise in Iraq, until what was bad got worse. In the Libyan confusion, he seemed silly on TV, as if he were the President, saying constantly that Obama was delaying to “help” democratic Libyans who wanted freedom and democracy. Obama eventually did what he did in Libya, and today that nation is a hell. God allowed a Marxist leader to become the U.S. president because the other options (including Romney), in these issues, would have already thrown all of us in a hell of wars and death. Perfect is the Lord in his plans.

There are Christian groups that teach their followers that they are not to enter into military service and plead their case base upon being a Conscience Objector. They base their belief on, “turn the other cheek,” and little else.

I have read and studied God’s Word and would like to tell each of you what God has said.

Ecclesiastes 3: ⁸ a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

This is but one of the many references that I will cite and God has made it clear that there are times to fight and to do that often means between nations. This requires military service.
