Federal Health Care Law Could Exacerbate Existing Doctor Shortages

The new health care law will add 32 million people to the rolls of the insured. But that won’t work well if they can't get access to a doctor. And many say the U.S. is facing a growing shortage of physicians.

"And that is going to ... put tremendous pressure on the system to handle all the new people that are enrolled," says Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute and author of "Why Obamacare Is Wrong for America."

The Association of American Medical Colleges predicts that by 2015, there will be a shortage of more than 62,000 doctors. By 2020, the shortage leaps to more than 91,000, and by 2025, it is more than 130,000.

One analyst likened the health care law to giving everyone a free bus pass -- but without enough buses.

On April 8, a group he’s funded with $50 million is holding a major economic conference and Soros’s goal for such an event is to “establish new international rules” and “reform the currency system.” It’s all according to a plan laid out in a Nov. 4, 2009, Soros op-ed calling for “a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order.”

The event is bringing together “more than 200 academic, business and government policy thought leaders” to repeat the famed 1944 Bretton Woods gathering that helped create the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Soros wants a new “multilateral system,” or an economic system where America isn’t so dominant.

More than two-thirds of the slated speakers have direct ties to Soros. The billionaire who thinks “the main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat” is taking no chances.

OBAMA MUST BE DEFEATED IF AMERICA IS TO EXIST AS A FREE NATION !

Unlike a lot of patriots, I've been of the opinion that defeating Barack Obama in 2012 is going to be virtually impossible. I didn't say impossible, but virtually... or pretty darn close to it.

Yes, we all know he is corrupt, lacks transparency, lies on a regular basis, tramples the Constitution, props up the radical Islamic agenda and pretty much ignores the rights and liberty of America in getting his goals accomplished. But here is the kicker...

We knew that in 2007-08 as well.

As a Chicagoan, I find it constantly mind boggling how so many Americans can vote based on the prettiest yard sign or the best designed TV ad. Think about Illinois for a second... our state Government is now acting downright maliciously towards the taxpayers. We're damn near bankrupt, businesses can no longer afford to operate here and the Governor and his Democrat ilk just raised our taxes by a whopping 67% (state income).

But Governor Pat Quinn didn't hide the fact that he would raise taxes, nor did he pretend he would cut spending during his re-election bid. Yet he was voted back into office.

The illegal immigrant, Anastacio Hernandez, lived in San Diego and was twice deported to his native Mexico. He became unruly when federal agents tried to deport him at the San Ysidro border crossing in May and an officer used a stun gun to control him. Hernandez ended up dying and the San Diego County coroner ruled it a heart attack with methamphetamine abuse and hypertension as contributing factors...

This week the illegal alien’s family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the U.S. government in San Diego....

Tony Hill is a substitute teacher in Glendale Arizona.  He is now the center of perhaps more attention than he wanted.  He wrote a letter that was read in the Arizona State Senate about illegal immigration.

Hill’s letter states that he was substituting at a Glendale school recently and the Hispanic students refused to say the pledge of allegiance.   Instead, they said they were Mexicans and America stole this land.

Hill went on to say that based on his experience teaching, a majority of these kids to not want to be educated.  They want to be gang bangers and gangsters.  He said, “They hate America and are determined to reclaim this land for Mexico.”

Libya mission gaining, as US looks to cede control

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama categorically ruled out a land invasion to oust Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi Wednesday as coalition forces launched a fifth day of air strikes against government military targets in the North African nation.

And Defense Secretary Robert Gates said he can't predict how long the no-fly zone operation will last, but that the U.S. could turn over control of it as early as Saturday.
Rear Adm. Gerard Hueber, a top U.S. officer in the campaign in Libya, said international forces were attacking government troops that have been storming population centers.
"From Benghazi, which we now believe to be under opposition control, we have moved west to Ajdabiya," Heuber told Pentagon reporters by phone from the U.S. command ship in the Mediterranean sea.

"I think that health care, over time, is going to become more popular," then-White House senior advisor David Axelrod promised David Gregory about Obamacare last September. That same month, the Health Information Campaign, founded by high-profile leftist activists including former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, spent $2 million on a national television ad campaign touting Obamcare’s first insurance mandates. Now, six months after Axelrod’s promise, and a full year after the bill was signed into law, the results are in: Obamacare is more unpopular than ever.

Look at any poll and you’ll see that Obamacare has only gotten less legitimate. Last year at this time Newsweek showed 40 percent of Americans supporting Obamacare and 49 percent opposing it. Today, only 37 percent support it while 56 percent oppose. According to Quinnipiac, after Obamacare passed last year, 44 percent of Americans approved of President Obama’s handling of health care while 50 percent opposed. Today, only 44 percent approve while opposition has grown to 56 percent. And according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, after Obamacare passed, 62 percent of Americans thought the law would either have no effect on them or make them worse off. Today that number is up to 69 percent.

PARENTAL RIGHTS - AN INQUISITION?

For those of you that don't understand the issue at hand, let me try to simply explain it for you.
Our parental rights, as any other family law, is given at a state level. The United Nations has written a document, by the 18 officers in Switzerland, that is meant to help children around the world that suffer slavery, hunger, disease, sexual traffic, or even trained for armies at a minor age. This document is called the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). All the countries of the U.N have already signed and ratified this document except Somalia and the United States. President Clinton signed it in 1995 but never submited it for ratification to Congress, Pres. Obama supports this document.
Because of a clause in our Constitution, any international treaty that the United States ratifies becomes as strong binding law of the land, with as much weight as our Constitution. It will certainly overpower any state law.

DHA SECRETARY NAPOLITANO MUST WAKE UP TO REALITY!

Border Patrol agents recently arrested 13 illegal immigrants and two U.S. citizens disguised as U.S. Marines and riding in a fake military van. After the suspicious white van was subjected to secondary inspection, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle and its front seat passenger were U.S. citizens who were attempting to smuggle 13 illegal immigrants into the United States. Reportedly, all of the vehicle’s occupants wore U.S. Marine uniforms emblazoned with the same name, “Perez.” The vehicle used in the smuggling attempt was registered out of Yucca Valley, CA, and was bearing stolen government plates that had been defaced.
