Reid's Senate in a World of Pain
If you're wondering what Senate Democrats decided to give moms for Mother's Day, try dirty, unregulated abortion clinics. While conservatives fight to give women more protection, liberals are trying to send states back to the dark ages of health care. Their latest attempt, Sen. Richard Blumenthal's (D-Conn.) ridiculously named "Women's Health Protection Act," would sweep away virtually every state and local limit on abortion and clinic standards. For the extreme Left, Blumenthal's sweeping proposal is the answer to what they call a "cascading wave of restrictions" in the states.This great pro-life awakening, which launched a record-breaking number of common sense laws, is helping to break the abortion stronghold on communities across America. And that's exactly what the Left is afraid of. From abortion waiting periods to Planned Parenthood funding bans, the states are doing what voters wish Congress would: cracking down on an industry that destroys lives and exploits women. Like a lot of liberals, Sen. Blumenthal is so desperate to stop this flood of pro-life support that he's willing to trample states rights' to do it.
GROWING CALLS FOR OBAMA'S IMPEACHMENT

You have not taken your oath to honestly and faithfully execute the
duties of your office. As commander in chief, you have NOT protected us.

But Judge Jeanine Pirro is not alone, the list of pundits, Washington insiders, celebrities and elected officials who are calling for the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama is growing with each passing day.
And make no mistake: You're driving this train. These further calls for Mr. Obama's impeachment originate with the buzz that average Americans, like you, are generating, but the job is not done. In the coming days, we need to send 100,000 Blast Faxes to the Republican Leaders and Tea Party Members in Congress to make the Impeachment of Barack Obama a reality... and only you can make that happen.

It has been a busy few weeks. On top of my full time job of running my home healthcare business, I am also serving on interim legislative committees, campaigning for reelection, meeting with the amazing constituents of District 4 and discussing real issues in our community. I also celebrated Mother's Day last weekend as a daughter, mother, and my favorite, grandmother (my grandchildren call me Nona). I am truly blessed.

On The Wall" of Texas is hosting a national 2-day Common Core Summit in
Austin, Texas. During the same period the National PTA is hosting
their convention in Austin with Arne Duncan as their key-note speaker.
Now isn't that strange?? TX never signed on to Common Core. So isn't
it kind of strange they would host their annual PTA conference in Texas?
It is not strange at all. There have been communities in Texas that
have taken advantage of Race To The Top District. The program created
by the Obama administration that enables Local Education Agencies (LEA)
to by-pass the state and go straight to the federal government for
funding but of course the same strings are attached to RTTT-D as the
regular RTTT program.
