I stumbled across these arresting photos while perusing the American Thinker.  I remembered seeing them somewhere before.  Every time I see them, they stop me in my tracks.

What the heck is that long scar running up the side of Barack Obama’s noggin, up over his crown, then down the other side of his head?

No one in the media has asked (until recently, that is, after this article appeared on this blog).

History does repeat itself, esp in regions like the US and Europe where the people are fed a sanitized version of history or taught little at all about the past.

Today the US government has made plans to deal with unruly Americans (see link below to excerpts from US Army manual, written under GW Bush). It sounds like they adopted the Czarist method:

UNIONS ARE NOT FOR THEIR MEMBERS!

I had mentioned in a previous email that there are 3 towns in CA that are either bankrupt (Vallejo and Stockton) or about to be bankrupted (Mammoth Lakes).

Government unions (and their lawyers) are the main reason for this bankruptcy, forcing tax payers to pay extravagant salaries and benefits. Mammoth Lakes, for ex, must declare bankruptcy to ease the settlement of a lawsuit occasioned by its default on a contract. Yet the union practically blocks this bankruptcy filing by forcing an anti-bankruptcy law that protects union workers. Although there appears to be no agreement on how to define the phenomenon of corruption, it has been generally defined as “the abuse of public office for private gain."   However, corruption can occur in the private arena as well.  Corruption manifests itself in the form of bribes, patronage, nepotism, theft, embezzlement and diversion of public or private revenues or assets.  It exists in all cultures, countries, religions and institutions in different degrees of severity.  Corruption is in fact, a negative human characteristic that is only offset by individual and societal honor, integrity and morality.
