The COLA Once Again Leaves Seniors Out In the Cold
The
government announced that the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is going
to be 1.7 percent for 2015. This is far below the average of 4.1
percent calculated since 1975 and is the fifth time in the last six
years that it has been below 2 percent. By using a flawed method for
calculating a fair COLA for seniors our government has once again asked
older Americans to turn down the thermostat, reassess their eating
habits and make unhealthy choices on which medicine they can afford.

I may be preaching to the choir, but maybe, just maybe some undecided voters will read and gain insight from this article.
The Party of the Left, the Democrats, are more concerned with gaining reelection and retaining the majority in the U.S, Senate than they are in properly representing the citizens of this great nation. They, the Democrats are seeking to divide this nation into segmented groups and creating racial discord than anything other than any sane person might imagine.
To the Party of the Left, Democrats, everything is about Blacks versus Whites, Hispanics versus Whites and Blacks, Females versus Males, Straights versus Gays, Christians versus Muslims, Catholics versus the U.S. Government and any other group they can imagine that can be pitted against and other imagined group.

HAPPY NEVADA DAY!
Yesterday the family and I drove up to Carson City to be
here for the big 150th Anniversary celebration of Nevada’s
statehood. On the way we stopped and
walked around the Rhyolite Ghost Town, before taking a tour of Scotty’s Castle
in Death Valley.
Dinner last night, of course, was at Red’s 395 Grill.
Breakfast this morning at The Crackerbox, where I ran into my
longtime friend Rick Arnold. Later today we’ll hit Virginia City for lunch,
including a Bloody Mary at the Bucket of Blood Saloon.
Trick-or-treating tonight in the neighborhood surrounding
the Governor’s Mansion. I’m going as myself; about the scariest thing imaginable
for Gov. Brian Sandoval!

think that your state and our country need more debt, more taxes, bigger
government, Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader blocking every House-passed
bill, including the bi-partisan ones and Eric Holder on the Supreme Court, then
for the sake of future generations, get out and vote. And get every sensible,
conservative voter you know out as well. Especially if there is a US Senate
election in your state. Do it for the children, as the liberals say.
