The trial of baby butcher Kermit Gosnell has raised awareness of the sanctity of life, and ignited a renewed vigor among the pro-life community to act upon the courage of our convictions. Already there are stories of even more potential Gosnells out there—one in Houstonand perhaps another in my own backyard.
This has led to a renewed discussion within the pro-life movement about tactics and strategy. For example, Arizona Congressman Trent Franks, a previous guest on our nationally-syndicated radio show, is championing a bill that would ban killing children in Washington, D.C. after 20 weeks when accepted science states the unborn person feels pain. Another previous guest on our radio program, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, is a proponent of “personhood” legislation. Two of his fellow senators, Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah, are calling for national hearings on late-term abortions to prevent anymore Gosnells.
In light of these developments, and because of the many questions as a result of the expansion of our radio show into many new markets, I am compelled to provide my “articles of conscience” when it comes to the life issue to clarify any confusion and define why I believe what I believe.

DISASTER RELIEF FOR OKLAHOMA TORNADO SURVIVORS
Dear Conservatives,
The devastation in Oklahoma is tremendous. Yesterday, a massive tornado hit the suburbs of Oklahoma City, destroying thousands of homes, a hospital and even two elementary schools. The death toll stands at 24 souls and may yet rise, with so many in hospitals and others still unaccounted for. Many of the victims were children, attending school yesterday.
As the state director of AFP-Oklahoma, I’m grateful that my family and all Oklahoma AFP staff are safe; but many of our friends and neighbors cannot say the same. Our state chapter has at least a hundred residents living in the two worst affected cities, Moore and Newcastle.
To aid in disaster relief, I’ve asked AFP activists statewide to donate much needed items to the Salvation Army. The outpouring of support already given to our community is overwhelming. Other taxpayers were hounded with intrusionswith absolutely no relation to tax issues from the FBI, BATF, Office of Labor Relations, Department of Health, and other government agencies What we can reasonably conclude is that Obama's Enemies were, are, and will be the targets of an encircling military campaign style multi-pronged attack to keep them off balance, inactive, and in a subservient role until the next election and the elections after those. Experts on Islam and terrorism are decrying the Department of Homeland Security’s recently revealed anti-terrorism training guidelines, which pressure cops to ignore Islamic beliefs when investigating terror crimes.
The Boston bombings demonstrated the impact of such training, Andrew McCarthy, a former New York prosecutor, told The Daily Caller.
“The Boston Marathon was bombed by a jihadist who had been investigated by the FBI … [and was confirmed in 2011 to be] an Islamist, which would have been hard not to do since he does not appear to have made any secret of it,” said McCarthy, who persuaded a New York jury in 1995 to convict “Blind Sheikh” Omar Abdel-Rahman for his use of Islamic teaching to spur jihad attacks, including the 1993 attack against the Twin Towers.

1. Governor Perry, Please Veto SB 346
I think Governor Rick Perry is the conservative Ben Kenobi. I started to title this piece, “Help me Obi Wan Perry, You’re My Only Hope.”
In light of the IRS scandal, you would think that Texas Republicans would not be so foolish as to vote for SB 346 in the state legislature, but apparently they are that foolish.
The legislation, in Texas of all places, would require nonprofits engaged in politics to disclose all their donors. “Shouldn’t they,” you may say. Oh hell no they should not.
In California, those who gave to support Proposition 8 were targeted for harassment. Some were driven from the jobs. Some businesses were boycotted.
In Wisconsin, during the recalls, some businesses that refused to publicly support the recall were targeted for boycotts.
The IRS under Barack Obama has leaked the donors of conservative groups, including a conservative group in Texas.
