As a law enforcement and forensic science specialist (civilian employee) he has served as a Las Vegas Metro PD Senior Crime Scene Analyst (CSI), developed and managed the Henderson CSI Section and Crime Lab, and is the current Henderson PD Law Enforcement Accreditation Manager.

Bruce Cutler has been a resident of Henderson, NV.  since 1991.   He is originally from Bridgeport, CT.  He has been active with the Inner City Games and the City of Henderson Parks and Rec in the past.  He was also on the Whitney Ranch Homeowners Association as Treasurer for 7 years.  He was chairperson of the Beautification Committee for Whitney Ranch HOA when it was necessary to cut the budget and enhance the community, with the help of the City and SNWA.   Mr. Cutler ran for City Council 4 years ago and at that time he was retired.  He has willingly decided that he wants to work for Henderson and the people of Henderson.
He has 4 children.  Two reside in Henderson and two his other 2 children are back East.  He previously worked in Insurance Sales.  He is presently working at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts as a Delivery Specialist.
He is a “grass roots” man.  He has a common sense approach to matters at hand.  He likes to do his homework before a decision is made.
Henderson is a great place to live and work he wants to do his part to keep it that way.

CAIR DENIES TRUTH!

Teacher overwhelmed when she learns ACT! for America is rallying to her defense! 


Dear Conservatives,

Mary Janda, a veteran of 21 years of teaching at Concrete Middle School in Concrete, Washington, is under attack by the Washington affiliate of Hamas-connected CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). 

Her “offense?” During a class discussion on bullying, she referred to Hamas and the Taliban as examples of organizations that use violence to “bully people.”

A student in class objected, saying “My father is a Muslim and these statements aren’t true.”

Of course they are.

Hamas is a terrorist organization and the Taliban is who we’re fighting in Afghanistan!

The school district investigated the incident and correctly concluded Ms. Janda did nothing wrong. 

But CAIR-Washington jumped into the fray, alleging “racism,” contacting the media, and even demanding a Justice Department civil rights investigation.

The Muslim father didn’t talk to the teacher to get her side of the story. Had he done so he would have known that Ms. Janda made it clear she wasn’t referring to Muslims or Arabs in general.

CAIR-Washington didn’t talk to the teacher, either.

No, CAIR-Washington saw this as an opportunity to further its faulty, cynical narrative that Muslims across America are regular victims of discrimination and civil rights abuses.

CAIR-Washington is now alleging there is a “pattern” of discrimination in the school district, demanding extensive information on curriculum, textbooks, and internal correspondence.

Meanwhile, a veteran teacher with an exemplary record, who stated something that is factual and provable, is under attack—her good name smeared so that CAIR-Washington can advance its political agenda. 

When local citizens in Concrete reached out to ACT! for America for our help, we responded. We connected Ms. Janda to pro bono legal counsel. And our chapters and members in Washington have organized a local rally in support of Ms. Janda.

The rally will take place on Tuesday, March 19^th, at 7:30 PM, at a local church in Concrete. An email about this rally is going out to all our members in Washington.

It appears that Al Jazeera may have played a fast one on Florida Family Association.  Advertisements for five automakers stopped airing on February 25, 2013.  This was the deadline date that Florida Family Association gave three automakers, including Dodge-Fiat, before reporting them as top advertisers.  No advertisements appeared for more than a week for any one of these automakers.  Florida Family Association erroneously assumed that since their ads stopped airing on the deadline date that they had pulled their advertising.  Al Jazeera America may have done this on purpose hoping that Florida Family Association would publish erroneous information.  Florida Family Association will be extremely careful in the future when reporting the names of companies that pull their advertising.

One of the great things about Nevada is that we only allow our elected state legislators to convene once every two years, and only for 120 days.  By minimizing the time these folks are allowed to “help” us in Carson City, we minimize the amount of damage they can do.

Yet despite such a relatively short window of opportunity for legislative mayhem; and despite the myriad problems – serious problems – facing our state, some of these people still find ways to waste everyone’s time and insult our intelligence with ridiculous bills often designed to empower government, weaken civil liberties and absolve citizens of the responsibility to take care of themselves.

As such, here are some early entries for my first “Stuck on Stupid Awards,” extended to the dumbest, most offensive or trivial legislation introduced in the 2013 session of the Nevada Legislature.  And the nominees are…

* Sen. Ben Kieckhefer, who took time out of his busy schedule trying to sock Nevadans with $1.4 billion worth of higher taxes to introduce a bill to establish an official…state dog.
