Bilbray-Kohn declared that under ObamaCare “you can’t be thrown off your
insurance.”
Really?
Tell
that to almost 25,000 Nevadans who believed President Barack Obama when he infamously assured the nation in 2009 that “if
you like your current health care plan, you can keep it.” Because according to a story by Jennifer Robison published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal last week:

that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The
vast majority of Nevadans are insured by their employers, and the employer mandate
for ObamaCare has been delayed for a year.
So the vast majority of Nevadans won’t be “thrown off their insurance”
policies until January 2015.
No
wonder 39 Democrats last week voted with Nevada Republican Reps. Joe Heck and Mark Amodei in favor of the Keep
Your Health Care Act of 2013, begging the question…

On Friday, the House of
Representatives voted 261-157 in favor of the "Keep Your Health Plan
Act," authored by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI). Some 39 Democrats joined all
Republicans in voting yes just a day after Barack Obama announced his
own unilateral and illegal "fix" for his ailing law.
The Wall Street Journal summarized Upton's bill:"The
one-page bill would allow insurers to continue offering for sale in
2014 the policies that ObamaCare terminated, exempting them from federal
regulatory edicts." However, because insurance companies have spent the
last three and a half years working to comply with ObamaCare
regulations, Upton's bill is unlikely to actually save many plans. Such
is the nature of Obama's "you can keep your plan" lie.
By contrast, Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) offered her own version of a
"keep your plan" bill in the Senate. In this case, the Journal writes,
Landrieu's bill "would order insurers to continue to offer the dumped
plans that in many cases no longer exist. This is also a substantive due
process violation for business and unconstitutional commandeering of
state regulators." That would be par for the course. |

Boycott: List of Companies Pushing for Amnesty for Illegal Aliens
The majority of
Americans oppose any path to citizenship – to oppose the will of the people is
tyranny; to allow corporations to dictate law is fascism.
Officials
representing over 100 corporate interests issued a letter to Rep.
John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) demanding the
legalization of 11 million illegal aliens and increased legal immigration
through the creation of new visa programs.
As these companies
put it in their letter:
[W]e strongly support efforts to bolster
the availability of a workforce at all skills levels, through a separate visa
