WRITE YOUR SENATORS AND TELL THEM TO KEEP THE SENATE RULES INTACT!

Dear Conservatives,

Just over two years ago, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid tried to pull a fast one on the American people.

Hoping no one would notice during the "lame duck" session before Christmas, Reid tried to ram through a new version of the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill.

That bill was designed to FORCE virtually every police officer and firefighter in the country under union boss control.

But concerned citizens like you were paying attention and rallied to defeat it.

And it was the filibuster that let us block it.

Now Harry Reid wants to change all that by gutting the filibuster -- and even threatening to break the Senate rules to make it happen.

I am saddened by the tragic events in Newtown, Connecticut, but I believe that efforts to impose new restrictions on me and other lawful and responsible owners like me are misguided. Did you know that violent crime with firearms has declined since the Federal "assault weapons ban" expired in 2004?

Your focus should be on strengthening mental health care and improving the quality of data supporting NICs checks (National Instant Criminal Background Check System). Do NOT pass more gun laws; instead, work to enforce the more than 20,000 gun laws already on the books.

MICHIGAN - SECTION 8 HOUSING PLAN A BUST!

SECTION 8 HOUSING VOUCHER PLAN A TRAVESTY!

TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -

A chaotic scene erupted at the Taylor Human Services Center when the crowd waiting for a Section 8 housing voucher distribution got out of control.

The center is located at Eureka and Lange Roads. That's on Eureka, between Beech Daly and Inkster.

Police say thousands of people from all over the area were at the center. Many were homeless, single moms, or disabled. They were hoping to get help paying for their housing from the government.

"There was elderly, disabled people, pregnant single women. They were here for help, to get their Section 8 vouchers. It just shows you what a desperate need... some were here since yesterday," said Rhianna Rodriguez.

7 Action News is being told there were 1,000 vouchers available and 5,000 people showed up trying to get one.

OBAMA'S 'PERFECT STORM' IS HERE!

Unlimited immigration is one of the components of that perfect storm. Figure it out: The government has no money of its own left, ONLY borrowed money. Jobs are as scarce as ever. Yet the government wants to flood us with even MORE illegal aliens.
Wanna know what happens next?
You need only look to Greece and Spain for that answer. Back when jobs were abundant, they were some of the most immigrant friendly nations in the world. Now?
Both are essentially broke and coping with over 25% unemployment.
In Greece, immigrants are being mistreated. The increasingly popular fascist party Golden Dawn is demanding that ALL immigrants be deported.
If Americans were truly kind, instead of just soft headed, they would demand a moratorium on all immigration during this economic crisis. If would-be immigrants were smart, they would not touch the US with a ten foot Pole or Czech right now. They are going to be so hammered when the SHTF. (See link below)

KENTUCKY - SHERIFF UPHOLDS U.S. CONSTITUTION AND NOT OBAMA'S ATTEMPT TO DISARM AMERICA

Jackson County Kentucky Sheriff Denny Peyman is making it clear that no law that violates the Constitution will be upheld in his county.

This especially applies to new gun control edicts Obama & Co. are trying to push onto the American people.

Said Peyman: "My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold."

And far from worrying about repercussions for doing this, Peyman sees the gun control push as a sign of weakness that will crumble in the face of real opposition: "Just a few of us have to be willing to stand up to political opposition putting our people at risk. The other side will back down."

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have found a patriot. And his name is Sheriff Denny Peyman.
