Headline: Biden’s dogs returned to Delaware after ‘biting incident’ and ‘aggressive behaviour’

The First take: Well, that was fast. Less than two months after moving from Wilmington, DE, to the White House, President Biden's dogs, Champ and Major, have been sent back to his home state. Reports say a WH staffer was bitten by Champ. (Perhaps a name change to "Chomp" is in order?) We worry the MSM will be saddened by this story. After all, they celebrated the news of dogs coming to the White House claiming it signaled a "return to normal." What does banishment mean? Perhaps the pet psychic who communicated with the Biden dogs last November will get the scoop for us.

The First take: We sense a small shift in reporting on the Biden-created crisis on our southern border. A week ago the MSM looked at the child detention facilities and referred to them glowingly. Today, as reports claim the surge of unaccompanied minors has tripled, descriptions of the migrant camps are using words like "jail." The White House will not be pleased. We, however, welcome the return of "journalism" to the New York Times.

The First take: Will someone remind us of the point of being vaccinated agains the COVID-19 virus? New CDC guidance says people who are fully vaccinated can gather indoors without masks as long as everyone else in the room has also been vaccinated. Travel? Sure. Just make sure you wear a mask there too? Again, why are we being vaccinated? The signals being sent by this administration are confusing at best.

Headline: Burger King's 'Woke' Viral Tweet Backfires Horrendously

The First take: We're wagering there's a job open in the social media department at Burger King's headquarters following a tweet announcing "Women belong in the kitchen." That statement would spark outrage on just about any day. But, Monday was "International Women's Day." The fast food giant spent the rest of the day apologizing and clarifying with "What we meant to say..." posts. If you haven't seen the story, the responses are a "must read."
