THE MORAL OUTCRY 05/01/2020 SCOTUS MUST RULE THAT ROE V WADE IS OUT!

THE SUPREME COURT JUST MADE THE MORAL OUTCRY
MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER

Last week, the Supreme Court overturned its own 1972 decision on a major constitutional issue: the right to trial by jury (Ramos v. Louisiana). This makes it easier for the Supreme Court to overturn its 1973 decisions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton - the two cases that brought legalized abortion to America. This has the pro-death side very scared. But this is good news for us!

Here are some of the amazing ways this happened, and lots of people are talking about it.

As the lawyer for The Moral Outcry Petition, which you have signed, the most amazing and important development to me was the separate opinion by Justice Kavanaugh who gave a three part analysis of when U.S. Supreme Court decisions should be overturned. By what I believe is not a coincidence, but the providence of God, The Moral Outcry Petition actually addresses all three of the major reasons he advocates for overturning a major Supreme Court decision like Roe v. Wade. Even some of the cases Justice Kavanaugh cited in his analysis are actually cited in The Moral Outcry Petition.

Here are the three points in Justice Kavanaugh's analysis of when to overturn a Supreme Court decision:

1.     "First, is the prior decision not just wrong, but grievously or egregiously                         wrong?
2.      Second, has the prior decision caused significant negative jurisprudential  or real           world consequences?
3.      Third, would overruling the prior decision unduly upset reliance                                     interests?"

Do you see how the Moral Outcry's Petition fits perfectly with that? In fact, The Moral Outcry Petition makes some of these very same arguments in its brief which is still pending right now in the other Louisiana case - the Louisiana abortion case. Click here to read The Moral Outcry Brief.

First of all, he said the prior decision must be egregiously wrong, not just simply wrong. We must argue more than just "Roe v. Wade was wrong", and we must give other reasons as well for why it should be reversed. That is why the major leaders of the prolife movement, as well as Melinda Thybault - Founder of The Moral Outcry Petition, and 264,500 signers of the Petition call Abortion a Crime Against Humanity (which it really is). That is the very first reason of The Moral Outcry Petition for reversing the Court's abortion cases.

The Petition also compares abortion to Dred Scott (the pre-civil war pro-slavery case) and Plessy v. Ferguson (allowing segregation), which Justice Kavanaugh in his opinion says are two of the Supreme Court's worst decisions in American history. We also remind the Supreme Court of one of their greatest opinions, Brown v. Board of Education, which did not create new constitutional rights which were already present in the 14th Amendment, but merely reversed a 58 year old precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Justice Kavanaugh also said this: the "most important and greatest decision in this Court's history was Brown v. Board of Education which repudiated the separate but equal doctrine of Plessy v. Ferguson." Click here to read the exact language of The Moral Outcry Petition which makes these amazingly similar arguments with respect to abortion.

Second, he said that the Court must look at negative consequences of the decision. Of course, the killing of sixty million children plus is the most horrible negative consequence of the Court's abortion cases. That is The Moral Outcry Petition's argument number two - life begins at conception. So we are killing "infant" life in the womb.(See Gonzales v. Carhart.)

Another "negative consequence" is that Abortion Hurts Women. Click here to read the Brief of the 2,624 Women Injured By Abortion we represent in the Louisiana abortion case.

Third is the reliance interest. This is was what stopped the Court from completely overturning Roe v. Wade in 1992 in Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The Court said women had come to rely upon abortion to be able to "fully participate in the economic and social life of the nation."

Now the Safe Haven laws eliminate the reliance interest. No woman has to rely on abortion to be free of unwanted child care. She can simply use her state's Safe Haven laws to release the baby to the community's care, at no cost to her. So we have many beautiful reasons to overturn Roe v. Wade in The Moral Outcry Petition, which you signed.

Your name is in the Brief at the Supreme Court, if you were one of the first 264,500 signers. Now Americans can say: "Don't kill the baby, but give justice to the baby. To the woman we extend mercy - don't hurt yourself - we will take the baby. We will give those babies to the two million women waiting with aching arms to adopt newborn children in America."

The Moral Outcry Petition is the love, love, love solution. All we need is love. Love the baby, love the mother, love the loving families waiting to adopt newborn children.

Thank you for your help. Now more than ever, we must continue to prove and present these arguments and convince the American people and the Court "it is time" to reverse Roe v. Wade. Please increase your prayers. The Supreme Court is still writing the Louisiana decision now. It is not official until it is released publicly. They can change their votes.

Please, if you can, continue to give to this ministry. If you cannot, we understand. Your prayers are the most precious gift you can give us. If you can give a donation at this time, please continue to give in Jesus' Name.
