I don't negotiate electronic obstacles when it comes to reading the news. If it ain't free and clear without registering and agreeing to this 'n that, forget it, but I was lucky to find a recent habeas corpus by Trump / DOJ below.
There have been many events and issues where all three branches of government -- executive, legislative, judicial -- have overreached their constitutional authorities and nothing happens. I'm thinking the NDAA that was established after 9 / 11.
Julian Assange appears to me to be a political prisoner of a puppet UK court system being directed by the US DOJ and / or any of the alphabet agencies. There are NO consequences to be suffered by the rotten elites of this country, be they government or corporate. What good is it to have laws, a Constitution / Bill of Rights and so forth but nothing to back them up when oppressive overreach by all three branches occurs. Remember a few decades ago the Chinese called the U.S. a paper tiger. Well, the rule of law is nothing but a paper tiger ... the Davos / Bilderbergs of the global elites have been getting away subverting nearly all Western countries for 50+ years, and the Rockefeller quote pretty wells sums up the situation in nearly all Western countries.

Report: Trump’s Justice Department Wants To Suspend Habeas Corpus
BY CHRIS WALKER March 21, 2020
President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice has sent documents to Congress requesting a suspension of the rules for habeas corpus, the right of a person who is arrested and to appear in an expeditious way before a judge to be formally
charged.
Politico reported on the developments in a report on Saturday, detailing how they had examined documents for the request.
The writ of habeas corpus is sometimes called “the Great Writ” due to its importance. Without its recognition, a government entity can arrest individuals indefinitely, without charges of any kind or the chance to argue for their defense/release
before a judge or a court of law.
The Trump administration made the request due to the current crisis the nation is facing concerning the spread of coronavirus, Politico reported.
The suspension of the rule is unlikely to be approved by Congress, due to the House of Representatives being under the control of Democratic lawmakers. However, it does highlight how the Trump administration is seeking broad authority and new powers under the current national crisis.
A presidential administration need not seek Congress’ approval, either, for suspension of the Great Writ, although according to the Constitution, the only means by which it can be ignored is “in cases of rebellion or invasion” where “the public
safety may require it.”
So revered is the writ of habeas corpus that even President Abraham Lincoln was denied the ability of revoking it during the Civil War, although he continued to do so despite a Supreme Court order.
The moves by the DOJ have unnerved civil liberty experts.
Suspending the writ would mean “you could be arrested and never brought before a judge until they decide that the emergency or the civil disobedience is over,” Norman Reimer, executive director for the National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, told Politico. “That is something that should not happen in a democracy.”

Trump Orders US Troops Back To Active Duty For Coronavirus Response
by Marty Johnson | 03 / 28 / 2020
President Trump signed an executive order on Friday that allows the Pentagon to mobilize former U.S. troops and members of the National Guard to help supplement troops already being used to combat the
coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Trump's order allows the heads of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Homeland Security to recall up to 1 million reserve members to active duty for up to 24 months.
"The Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of Homeland Security, as applicable, will ensure appropriate consultation is undertaken with relevant state officials with respect to the utilization of National Guard Reserve Component units activated under this authority," Trump's order states.
"Generally, these members will be persons in Headquarters units and persons with high demand medical capabilities whose call-up would not adversely affect their civilian communities," chief Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said in a statement, according to The Washington Post.
"As this is a dynamic situation, we do not currently have a projected number of expected activations, but the Department is now fully authorized to make activations as needed. We will provide updates as they become available," the spokesman added.
During his press conference Friday night, Trump said the decision allows the federal government "to mobilize medical disaster emergency response personnel to help wage our battle against the virus."
"We have a lot of people, retirees, great military people — they're coming back in," Trump said.
The Defense Department has dispatched two Navy hospital ships to New York and Los Angeles to help with the coronavirus response. The Army Corps of Engineers on Friday also identified 114 sites it plans to convert to hospitals
during the pandemic.

David Rockefeller, a globalist central banker who advocated a “New World Order” and mass population control while wielding vast influence over world leaders, died Monday at the age of 101.
“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and conspiring with others around the world to
build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it,” he wrote in his book Memoirs.
Rockefeller also revealed the extent of corporate media collusion with this game plan.
“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our
meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years … It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if
we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years,” he said at the 1991 Bilderberg meeting. “But, the world is more sophisticated and
prepared to march towards a world government.”
“The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past
centuries."
