Lee,
Because conservative ideas are almost entirely absent from college classrooms, it’s no surprise students have an upside-down view of the world.
College campuses are incubation centers for liberal zombies. They silence dissent by conservative students. Many students leave their colleges and universities in America without ever hearing conservative ideas.
But don’t take my word for it.
Cabot Phillips, Editor-in-Chief of my Leadership Institute’s college watchdog website, CampusReform.org, spoke to college students in Washington D.C. Cabot asked these young people what they thought of specific quotes from President Trump’s State of the Union Address.
What these students didn’t know is that these quotes were actually from Democratic candidates running for President in 2020.
First, students were appalled by Joe Biden's racist quote from 2012 saying to a black American audience, “They’re gonna put y’all back in chains.”
“That’s inappropriate,” one said, while another added simply, “that’s flat out racist.”
Another student went so far as to say, “We should get a new president, we shouldn’t have someone like that being a role model for kids.”
In the video Cabot Phillips recorded, you can see how disgusted the students were by these quotes -- but they were even more shocked to find out that all of these quotes belonged to liberals rather than President Trump or any other conservative.
Every student interviewed believed easily that these offensive statements came from President Trump because they’re conditioned to believe conservatives are evil.
Once Cabot revealed to the students that the offensive statements came from liberals, the students attempted to justify the offensive comments. One student even said, “Everyone says questionable things now and then, and it is beneficial to accept that.”
But after speaking with Cabot some of the students were willing to accept that they were immediately looking for something bad in the quotes because they thought that a conservative said them.
“The school is mostly liberal,” one student explained. Because the school is dominated by liberals, these students don’t often get a chance to hear a conservative point of view -- or have someone expose the hypocrisy of the left.
“I guess people think if this is something that [someone I disagree with] said, I can find a way to make it sound bad,” one of the students admitted. “But, if it’s someone I want to support then maybe I can find a way to make it sound good.”
Lee, conservatives can start winning back young Americans by engaging directly with these students and removing their liberal blinders, just like Cabot did in this video.
Your Leadership Institute fights every day to find students who think for themselves -- young people who don’t simply parrot liberal talking points -- and equip them to put an end to the liberal dominance on their campuses.
Your Leadership Institute goes to campuses all over the country to organize and train young conservatives to defend our shared conservative principles. And through LI’s Campus Reform watchdog website, the Leadership Institute exposes liberal indoctrination on college campuses to public scrutiny.
Thank you for helping to restore conservative ideas on college campuses.
Cordially,
