The Mayflower Compact
In
order to consider America’s Godly Heritage, it is by no means a stretch
to look to the very founding of America… Plymouth in 1620. Brave souls
made their transatlantic journey on “The Mayflower” in order to avoid
Christian Persecution and serve God in a new land. When they arrived,
they created an agreement. This agreement was a covenant (an
unfortunately little known or used word these days) between themselves
and God Himself.
This
covenant is known as “The Mayflower Compact”. Their purpose for
founding America is clearly expressed just in this one document alone.
Even
though they had trials, God blessed their steadfast endurance. In the
same way, Yahweh God will bless your steadfast endurance that you have
for Him today.
The Mayflower Compact
In the name of God, Amen.

Sovereign Lord, King James, by the Grace of God, of England, France and
