College Republicans Aim Their Laser Point At Treasurer Kate Marshall
Nevada College Republican Chairman and UNLV chapter president Mark Ciavola took on Nevada Treasurer and Congressional candidate Kate Marshall in an opinion piece published in the UNLV Rebel Yell, titled “Really, Kate Marshall?” You may view the article online:

You can help get the message out about Kate, and help Mark win, by sharing this article with your contact list.

Please remember that the UNLV College Republicans publicly refused university funding this year, and only succeed with the support and generosity of individual donors. If you’d like to make a contribution to help the College Republicans continue spreading the conservative message on and off campus, you may do so by clicking here, or by visiting the UNLVCR website.

Laughlin Forms Republican Women's Club
Thursday, July 8, was a history making day in Laughlin. Sue Lowden, former NRP chair and candidate for Senate, who is now living in Laughlin, kicked off a meeting to explore founding a Republican Women’s Club. More than 60 attendees crowded Granny’s restaurant in the Pioneer to learn more about the plans for this new .

The Laughlin women were supported in their efforts by elected officials from all over the state, including
  • Assemblyman John Hambrick (who joined as the first associate member)

  • NRP Chairwoman Amy Tarkanian
  • Clark County Republican Acting Chair Woody Stroupe
  • NRCC Secretary Carol DelCarlo
  • UNLVCR President Mark Ciavola
Tarkanian cheered on the group: “Women are multi-tasking warriors, and I’m happy to coordinate the state’s efforts with all the clubs to turn this state Red!” Republican Women’s Clubs develop and support candidates for all elections, from local to county to state to federal.

The following morning, interested members met again at the Pioneer to adopt standing rules and bylaws and elect the executive board of Nevada’s 21st Republican Women’s Club. Elected to serve were:
