Shock Poll: Most Parents Oppose ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’

ConservativeHQ

By George Rasley, CHQ Editor

Well, not really a shock at all. A majority of parents, even if reluctant to say it publicly, have an instinctual distrust of adult men in women’s clothing dancing and exploring sexual themes with their children. But to mount an effective opposition, one must first understand the sexual politics behind the glitter, sequins, and heels.

Under Biden America Has Become A Net Food Importer

ConservativeHQ

By CHQ Staff

What a difference a year of Joe Biden as President has made. Once we were the breadbasket to the world, now, for the first time in decades, the U.S. is now buying more food from the rest of the world than the amount of our domestic agriculture products that are sold abroad.

The Right Resistance: After all is said and done, there’s more said than done on entitlements

By Jeffery A. Rendall
This Congress won’t accomplish much – again, due to the intense political divisions – but what it can do is restore regular procedural order and devise a budget the old-fashioned way, through introducing legislation, marking it up in committee, voting on it and passing it on to the Senate.

Can You Afford Thanksgiving This Year?

By George Rasley, CHQ Editor
Every Thanksgiving meal item tracked by the Farm Bureau rose in cost this year, except for one: cranberries. A 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries dropped by 14% to $2.57. The biggest price increases were on stuffing, which is up a whopping 69%, and pie crusts and whipped cream — both up 26%, the survey said. This dinner price represents the greatest increase since the survey began more than three decades ago.

There Must Be A New Election Called In Arizona

By George Rasley, CHQ Editor
These complaints go beyond pure speculation, wrote Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright, and include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law. Furthermore, statements made by both Chairman Gates and Recorder Richer, along with information Maricopa County released through official modes of communication appear to confirm potential statutory violations of title 16.

The Right Resistance: Thanksgiving in America, 2022. Can Republicans and Democrats get along?

By Jeffery A. Rendall
There is plenty of fodder for contentious Thanksgiving Dinner “discussions” centering on culture and the nation’s direction this year. The recently concluded campaign was particularly (and predictably) nasty, with Democrats roundly accusing Republicans of being anti-democracy and “semi-fascists” simply for opposing the evil schemes of senile president Joe Biden and his horde of ambitious congressional majority Democrats.

Fire Democrat Reps Schiff, Swalwell And Omar From Sensitive Committees

By George Rasley, CHQ Editor
One of the easiest things presumptive Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy could do to reassure conservatives would be to announce that three traitorous Democrats, Reps Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell and Ilhan Omar, will be ousted from sensitive committee assignments. We urge conservatives to call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 ask for Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s office and tell him you want Democrats Schiff, Swalwell and Omar removed from and kept off of any sensitive committees.

Conservative All Star Steve King Vindicated: Found Not Liable For Copyright Infringement

By George Rasley, CHQ Editor
"It is a petty and politically motivated case of litigation persecution," King said. "I had no involvement or prior knowledge whatsoever and the plaintiff and her attorneys know that." Petty and politically motivated it may have been, but it cost former Congressman King and his now closed campaign committee over $150,000 to defend themselves against this lawfare attack.

Today's Headlines:
The Same Old, Same Old Déjà vu

Victor Davis Hanson, PJ Media

There will be more post-election, November surprises in 2024 — like the mysteriously sudden discovery just days after the voting that Sam Bankman-Fried was a multibillion-dollar con artist and huge Democrat donor, and the appointment of special counsel to investigate Trump. Who would have known that prior to November 8, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago presidential papers proved neither “nuclear secrets” nor designed for his personal sale after all?

The Case Against Ron DeSantis 2024

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

Sure, big donors will be happy to help but how about the little guys, the small dollar donors? Will they pay up? Will they work the phones and knock on the doors? Will they show up? That’s the thing – DeSantis is an unknown quantity nationally. But most candidates are their first time, and lots of them win. The way for DeSantis to refute the case against him is to show exactly how he intends to do so in 2024. Trump won’t be a pushover.

Trump’s Political Obituary Is Premature

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

Former president Donald Trump remains a formidable figure whose charisma dwarfs the personality of DeSantis, as even a few of his supporters acknowledged to me. They are quick to note that DeSantis has improved as a retail politician since his wobbly run in 2018. But they admit that he could struggle against the more dominant Trump. Trump is far from a spent political force, if my conversations with Florida Republicans are any indication.

Republicans Won 3 Million More Votes Than Democrats, but Not Where It Counted
Jack Phillips, The American Spectator

Recent data published by the Cook Political Report show that Republicans lead by some 3.5 million votes when all 435 House races are combined. As of Friday morning, Republicans had 54.13 million votes as compared with Democrats’ 50.79 million votes. Republicans got 3 million more votes in 2022 than during the 2018 midterms. Democrats got 10.3 million fewer votes than 2018, during which the party won control of the House at 235–199.

Pittsburgh School District Unanimously Passes Resolution Against Bill Barring Critical Race Theory
Just the News (Nicholas Ballasy), The Star News Network

The Pittsburgh School District unanimously passed a resolution against legislation that would bar teaching Critical Race Theory or any other concepts that regard one race as superior to another. The resolution, which passed on Tuesday, states that the board will defy “harmful legislation,” including HB 1532, formally referred to as the Teaching Racial and Universal Equality Act. The bill was proposed by Republican State Rep. Russ Diamond.

Putin's 'Winter War' on Ukraine
Patrick J. Buchanan, CNS News
Why would we do this? The U.S. ought not dictate to Kyiv when it should move to the negotiating track to end this war. But we Americans do have, given our indispensable contributions to the Ukrainian war effort, the right to tell Kyiv when we believe that the risks of further fighting exceed any potential gain for us; and, if Kyiv is determined to fight on, to give notice that Ukraine will be doing so without any more U.S. munitions.
