NEWS ALERT: ‘Potential terrorist’ nabbed at US-Mexico border
A “potential terrorist” with links to a number of “Yemeni subjects of interest” was captured in Arizona late last week after illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, U.S. Border Patrol officials announced Monday.
The 21-year-old man was apprehended Thursday night entering the U.S. from Mexico through Yuma, Arizona, according to a tweet from Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Chris T. Clem. He appears to have been wearing a jacket emblazoned with an American flag patch and another that stated: “Central Oneida County Volunteer.”
The article goes on to state the following:
Speaking to Fox News on Monday morning, Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps Chief Thomas Meyers said the man, whose identity has not been released, has no affiliation with the New York-based group. Meyers added that he does not know who the man is or how he acquired one of the jackets, which is outdated from the version the ambulance corps now uses.
Agent Clem tweeted photos of the man, who is allegedly from Saudi Arabia and wrote that he “is linked to several Yemeni subjects of interest.”

Former ICE Director told Fox News that he was “not surprised” a potential terrorist was caught at the border.
“I mean I’ve been saying it all year long. When you open the border to illegal immigration like the Biden administration does half the Border Patrol is no longer patrolling the line,” Homan said Monday. “They’re processing family groups in facilities. So when half the Border Patrol is not on the line…that’s when criminals and gang members come across, and certainly, I’ve said all along, that makes us vulnerable to terrorists coming across into the country.”

Just last week, Agent Clem shared news of a suspected MS-13 gang member from El Salvadorwho was caught trying to sneak into the US, along with a felon from Mexico who was convicted for attempted aggravated sexual battery.
Wellton agents nabbed two felons Monday. Joel Campos-Velis, a 31-yr-old migrant from El Salvador, is a suspected MS-13 gang member with an assault conviction; and Gabriel Hernandez-Perez, a 31-yr-old from Mexico, was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual battery. pic.twitter.com/
