The Washington Post's admission of just how far from the truth they strayed while reporting on Donald Trump and the election results in Georgia hits a new low. More than two months after publishing false and unfounded quotes about a conversation Trump had with a GA election official (which could have played a role in the two Georgia Senate run off elections going to Democrats and shifting the control of the US Senate), The Washington Post issued a correction saying that Trump actually never said the things they say he said. It's shameful. Will there be consequences for this journalistic malpractice? Doubtful. And, that's even a bigger shame. For the record, 13% of the U.S. population is African American and 5% of attorneys in the country are black. Social engineering has come to soft drinks.
