Help Save Maryland - Maryland Counties Continue Steady Slide Into Sanctuary Status For Illegal Aliens

On Monday, December 7, 2020, the Howard County Council voted to approve Sanctuary Bill CB63. It was seemingly drafted by the illegal alien support group CASA of Maryland and needlessly sponsored Councilman Opal Jones.
Special "THANKS" also goes to Howard Council Members Liz Walsh and Christiania Rigby who filed a series of amendments on December 7 to further tighten coverage and restrictions on any Howard County employees thinking of questioning, going public or contacting federal law enforcement with information regarding the lack of legal status of persons in Howard (unless a convicted criminal). Rest assured that CASA of Maryland had a hand in drafting these multiple amendments as well.
And lets not forget Councilmember Deb Young who was asleep at the wheel when it was time to vote "NO" on this unnecessary bill.
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball immediately CAVED and signed the bill on December 10. It will become law on February 9, 2021.
Howard County now joins the ranks of Baltimore City, Prince George's, Baltimore and Montgomery Counties who protect criminal illegal aliens from arrest, detainment and deportation. Thus Howard will now share in the economic, social, criminal and educational nightmare that plagues Maryland's largest counties.
Just what the law abiding citizens of Howard County want and need during the Coronavirus health crisis, and related job and economic slowdown! Howard citizens may have lost their jobs and homes, but no worries as our illegal alien "guests" are safe.
Hundreds and hundreds of citizens opposed to Sanctuary Bill CB63, including a large segment of the Asian American Immigrant Community in Howard. True Immigrants who came to America and Howard County legally and are now citizens. Their heartfelt concerns fell on deaf ears.
Besides these citizen heroes, Howard Council Member David Yungmann also gets honorable mention for opposing the Sanctuary bill from day one.

Lastly, I am always amazed that black elected officials, like Jones and Ball, are at the front of the line pushing to support illegal immigrants living, working, using public schools and social services, and committing crimes with impunity from the law in Maryland.
Black citizens in Howard are of course hurt by these thoughtless actions as illegal aliens lower wages and steal their jobs, social services, and cause overcrowding in public schools where their children will suffer the most. Not to mention the crime and MS-13 gang violence. Jones and Ball just don't want to understand that Illegal aliens are not immigrants.

Frederick County, Maryland
The illegal alien facilitator groups in Frederick County are gearing up for 2021. After failing to end the lifesaving law enforcement activities of Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins and his work with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, these anti-American groups are trying a different approach.
They want to create a "Frederick County Immigrant Affairs Commission" to understand, facilitate civic engagement and recognize and legitimize all things for "immigrants". "Access to and delivery of services and information tailored to "immigrants" is key.
And they want to stock the Commission full of illegal alien supportive types - Businesses, Faith and Community based groups who serve illegals, oh I mean "immigrants". Two "immigrants" and a Student with an interest in immigrant affairs will also round out this star studded lineup.
This has all the trimmings and trappings of a road map and first steps to making Frederick a Sanctuary County. Frederick County taxpaying citizens, get your checkbooks ready!
Green card carrying legal immigrants and recent immigrants who are now citizens have no need for a special Immigrant Affairs Commission to look out for them. The Frederick Government already does a great job doing just that. Nor do Frederick citizens need this costly and biased Commission.
The sponsor of this Commission, Council Member Jessica "English is not my official language" Fitzwater, wants to help alien aliens and MS-13 gang members in hiding in Frederick. Jessica thinks illegal alien = citizen and wants to spend your tax dollars, and jeopardize your safety, in order to make illegal alien criminals feel warm and fuzzy and welcome.
Tell radical Jessica Fitzwater and the rest of the Frederick County Council to vote NO on a proposed "Immigrant Affairs Commission". Tell them to use the funds instead to help struggling citizen families and legal immigrants in Frederick County.

Dear Council Members,
I am urging you NOT to support the creation of an Immigrant Affairs Commission. A commission to give Frederick County's growing immigrant residents, representing dozens of countries and cultures is not only a waste of taxpayer dollars but makes the county less safe. Unchecked immigration status has made the state of Maryland second in the nation in MS-13 criminal activity. Maryland MUST concentrate on requiring proof of citizenship of its residents in order for them to participate in government including VOTING.
The proposed Commission on Immigrant Affairs is a step backward. There is nothing in our local or state Maryland legislatures that exclude participation in government for those that are here legally. Maryland's agricultural success thrives because of Americans, not because of immigrants.
Immigrants make up about 15% of Frederick County's population, numbering over 49,000 people. Here, they raise their families, work and own businesses, and pay taxes. However, if their status is that of an illegal alien no government agency can provide a figure as to HOW MUCH in taxes are paid. Therefore, their contribution to local and state governments and in turn the community is questionable versus the drain of taxpayer dollars (for example the use of the public school system). Legal immigrants have as much representation as any other American. No one group requires a "commission" that all taxpayers must fund.
America's diversity is boundless. There are no impediments prohibiting legal immigrants from participation in the governing process. Diversity does NOT make one special. If you are a legal immigrant, just like our ancestors, you're NOT special. You're a working, taxpaying American who wants what is best for the community.
