This week, millions Americans exercised their sacred right to vote and decide the future of our nation. Free and fair elections are what America is about, and Senator Rick Scott will always work to protect the integrity of our elections.

Senator Rick Scott recently introduced the Verifiable, Orderly, & Timely Election Results (VOTER) Act to establish uniform standards for vote-by-mail systems across the country and ensure the timely and efficient counting of ballots, with important safeguards to prevent fraud. Now more than ever, our nation needs standards nationwide to ensure smooth and secure elections in the future.

As Florida braces for potential impacts from Eta this weekend, Floridians should take action now to make sure they are prepared for any situation and listen to your local officials. Hurricane Season is not over, and every family should stay prepared for any future storms. Severe weather can approach quickly and should never be underestimated. Although preparing for a storm might look a little different amid the coronavirus, we cannot let our guards down, and must do everything we can to ensure our families stay safe. See more in Senator Scott’s Hurricane Season PSA, in partnership with The Weather Channel, HERE
