Headline: Biden: 'We shouldn't have' second debate if Trump still has COVID-19
What's Up: We are seven days into Donald Trump's battle against the Coronavirus and based on all reports out of the White House, the president is winning the battle. That said, Joe Biden told reporters he did not believe the second presidential debate should occur if Trump still has the virus.
Quote: "'The President intends to participate in the debate in person,' the campaign's communications director, Tim Murtaugh, said in a statement." — TheHill.com
The First take: Our initial response to Biden's declaration -- Thanks, Captain Obvious. If the President still has the virus by next Friday, there is something flawed with the current diagnosis we are getting from his doctors. We are hearing Sunday and Monday will tell the tale. If the President is still without a fever or symptoms, we should be headed to debate #2. |
