NEWS FROM THE SECOND DISTRICT
The young people in our district continue to exceed our expectations and lead the charge in creating a better tomorrow. In case you missed these announcements, Florida State University is among our nation’s Top 20 finest public institutions of higher education. FSU ranked in at number 19 and continues to play an integral role in developing young professionals throughout this region and internationally. I commend President John Thrasher and the dedicated faculty and staff whose hard work made this accomplishment possible. Congratulations and, as always, GO NOLES!
Just outside of our district, more student leaders have outperformed themselves. For the second year in a row, Florida A&M University has earned the #1 top Historically Black College & University title - a well-deserved accolade for their hard work. President Larry Robinson, the Board of Trustees, and FAMU’s dedicated faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to create an environment that bolsters students and ensures bright futures for young Floridians. Thank you to the students for your hard work, dedication, and drive to better our world. Keep striking, Rattlers!
