Michigan Senator Gary Peters apparently thinks he can say and do anything and the media will give him a pass. If you heard the ads in this race you'd think Peters was a champion for small business and the toughest Senator on China. But the truth is much different. Peters missed almost 90% of the meetings his Senate committee held on helping small business. He was absent from even more of the meetings on China. He was praising China's response to Covid as recently as March. Peters and his leftist friends are simply lying about his record. Even worse Peters is endorsed by a "progressive veterans" group which is doing his dirty work attacking his opponent, a real combat veteran John James. Through voter outreach and advertising we are exposing Peters' lies and telling James' story of military service and sacrifice. SUPPORT JOHN JAMES - CHIP IN ANY AMOUNT Senator Peters missed 84% of the meetings held by the Small Business Committee while in the House and 89% of those held by the Congressional Executive Committee on China as a Senator.  Additionally Michigan Democratic senator Gary Peters told supporters he "never voted against a pay raise for service members."  But he's voted against such pay raises on at least six occasions. While his opponent John James is a combat veteran and CEO, Gary Peters has spent over 30 years in Washington D.C. Peters received the endorsement of VoteVets, a progressive organization known for calling President Trump a "traitor" and attacking the Founding Fathers and Abraham Lincoln as "dead traitors." Michigan truly is truly the center of the political world in 2020! Record amounts of money are being spent now and up to November. Democrats are running ads as we write calling John James a "right-wing extremist." They are lying about his stances on healthcare and other issues to try to sway voters.
