The viral hot mic moment is a lot less revealing than some suggest. In fact, it's a little piece of good news among the many pieces of bad news we see and hear every day.

Despite the ginned-up hysteria of the left-wing media outlets and the Demoncrat Party, the Wuhan Virus Epidemic is very real. Indeed, people have died from this pernicious virus which probably had it's origins in that so-called level four Wuhan laboratory. As far as we know COVID-19 is not a "designer" virus, a "weaponized" virus that was unleashed on the world. Best case scenario (with still a bad ending) was this virus "escaped" that Chinese lab facility through an employee who possibly "accidentally" (i.e. recklessly) exposed himself to the virus and then later interacted with Wuhan citizens in the subsequent weeks and infecting them. That's the best case scenario. Worse case scenario was there was weaponizing gene splicing going on in that lab behind the fig-leaf of "studying the virus" and then it was purposefully unleashed on that region of China before letting it escape into the rest of the globalized world while keeping Beijing and other important Chinese cities relatively virus-free through the remorseless machinations of its own police state.
In any case, the Chi-Com governments' handling of the then highly-localized epidemic outbreak in the Wuhan region was reckless, incompetent and criminal. It's failure to alert the world in a timely fashion makes China culpable for the loss of lives and the loss of trillions of dollars by those who live outside the Chinese border. With a population of 1.4 billion people I wouldn't be surprised that the Chi-Com leadership would have just shrugged its shoulders at the potential for losing several millions of its citizens since they would probably welcome a "thinning of the herd." However, the professional personnel the Chinese government lost would sting a bit though the great irony is that it's entirely possible, given the Chinese's concern for bad PR (not to worry Chi-Coms, WHO rode to the rescue), their own despotic actions in shutting their medical scientists up were even more devastating than the virus itself. Given how its already been reported the Chi-Com government arrested, possibly murdered or disappeared a significant number of its medical experts in the region studying the virus and making "unauthorized" public comments which cast an unfavorable light on the Chi-Com leadership's competence and complete lack of honesty and transparency. Their destruction of medical research also speaks to the Chinese officials potential for silencing through incarceration or by bullet those who pose a threat to their political and PR hegemony.
BTW, I'm pretty confident if radical "woke" lefties in America had their way, this is what our nation would become since they wouldn't want anything like this coronavirus scandal mucking up their "science-based" political agenda and their rule with a velvet-covered iron fist. However, if certain clueless American don't believe liberal Democrats would rule with an iron fist if they controlled the levers of power like the Chi-Coms do in China, they need to take a good look around themselves at the tin-plated despotism of Democratic governors and mayor across this nation who seek to continue lording it over their populations like some kind of feudal overlords. Given their disgusting default to tyrannical behavior, these Democratic despots should be impeached and tarred and feathered for their very transparent violations of Americans' most sacred rights. Governor Whitmore of Michigan is one of the worse cases and the sight of this lying radical feminist tyrant locking-down her state with a velvet-gloved fist should be burned into every freedom-loving American's mind. What an arrogant, unapologetic Jezebel.
