Conservatives, State laws have become the new front in the battle for unborn babies. New York passed one of the most barbaric abortion laws ever. Other states tried to do the same. Virginia's bill would have legalized live-birth abortions. Other states are refusing to follow this horrific path.

We've filed an amicus brief at the Supreme Court in defense of an Alabama law that would ban dismemberment abortions. We've filed testimony in Vermont against a proposed New York-style abortion expansion bill. Yesterday our legal team was in New York to argue at a critical legal hearing to protect pro-life pregnancy centers. And we're preparing to file a new lawsuit in New York. We've testified and helped craft pro-life heartbeat bills in states nationwide. Tomorrow, a team of ACLJ lawyers will be testifying in Maryland in support of two critical bills: to ban late-term abortions (the abortions New York expanded) and to require abortionists to provide women an opportunity to see the baby before making any decision.
