Dear Conservatives,
Election Day is Tuesday, November 6. With 35 U.S. Senate Races, 435 U.S. House races, 36 Governor races, and thousands of state and local races on the ballot this year, this is an important election for our country. We want to share some free resources to help you prepare.
Our elected leaders have a significant influence on important issues like the sanctity of human life, protecting religious liberty, our ability to freely live out our deeply-held religious beliefs, the confirmation of judges, and much more. This underscores why it’s so important that we get involved. We need to go to the polls and elect leaders who will work to preserve faith, family, and freedom.
In the last two years alone we've seen:
- The nomination and confirmation of 2 U.S. Supreme Court Justices.
- The confirmation of over 80 judges at the federal level.
- The reinstatement and expansion of the Mexico City Policywhich prevents tax dollars from being used to fund abortions overseas. This has impacted an estimated $8.8 billion in U.S. international funding.
- Over 2,000 pages of legislation and over 260 new federal billspassed.
- A Religious Liberty Executive Order enforcing Americans' First Amendment right to religious freedom. It included direction to agencies to respect the religious freedom of organizations, especially charities, which provide up to 13.7 million people with health care and other social services.
- U.S. officials helped to secure the release of Pastor Andrew Brunson and 17 other prisoners abroad.
Who do we want in charge of these decisions? Elections matter and it's important that we have leaders we can trust as they deliberate on these issues. We've prepared a number of free resources that we hope are helpful as you prepare and equip yourself to vote in Tuesday's election:
- Voter Guides: We're working with iVoterGuide to cover all federal races as well as state races in select states. Additionally, we have printable, 1-page guides in key U.S. Senate and U.S. House races.
- Party Platform Comparisons: Where do the major Party Platforms stand on life, family, religious liberty, judges, and more? Check out this handout and video.
- Why Elections Matter: See what issues our public officials have been working on since our last election and what steps have been taken on issues we care about in our handout and video.
- Candidates: See what pro-family candidates our PAC has endorsed and what federal candidates' scores have been on votes affecting faith, family, and freedom.
- Where to Vote: Not sure where to vote? Find your polling location.
Your vote will make a difference. I hope you'll make your voice heard, vote your values on November 6, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Sincerely,
Brent Keilen
