The statement ‘love the sinner but hate the sin” is just one of many lies being spread by this new Milquetoast Christianity. It is not in the Bible at all - no one uttered those words or those sentiments. God literally hated the sinner too sometimes. Certain sins made him angrier than others. This statement is not biblical in any sense I see. It is, in fact, contradictory to what God does. God is shown, quite a few times in the Old Testament, to hate the people themselves. We have an awesome and fearful God.
Why do I write about this subject? Because we have lost the most important thing concerning our relationship with God -fear. We are to fear the Lord our God if we ever wish to develop wisdom in his Word. Our modern day church has become lukewarm- and thus, has lost the powerful hold over the minds of men. Ultimately, this only hurts mankind. In order to properly approach God, we need to fear him. We need to understand his utter dominance over us- his complete sovereignty. [...]

The statement ‘love the sinner but hate the sin” is just one of many lies being spread by this new Milquetoast Christianity. It is not in the Bible at all - no one uttered those words or those sentiments. God literally hated the sinner too sometimes. Certain sins made him angrier than others. This statement is not biblical in any sense I see. It is, in fact, contradictory to what God does. God is shown, quite a few times in the Old Testament, to hate the people themselves. We have an awesome and fearful God.
Why do I write about this subject? Because we have lost the most important thing concerning our relationship with God -fear. We are to fear the Lord our God if we ever wish to develop wisdom in his Word. Our modern day church has become lukewarm- and thus, has lost the powerful hold over the minds of men. Ultimately, this only hurts mankind. In order to properly approach God, we need to fear him. We need to understand his utter dominance over us- his complete sovereignty. [...]
