“When I do this I think as an investigator first... I think backwards from how they would prosecute if they could, and then try to build out the method to avoid that,” said Democrat dirty tricks operative Scott Foval in our 2016 Democracy Partners series.
After we released a video of Foval bragging about disrupting a Governor Walker event in Iowa and how he planned to use rental cars in lieu of busses to bring people from out of state into Wisconsin to participate in elections, the Wisconsin Attorney General’s office contacted us and requested our cooperation with their investigation into whether or not these actions violated any Wisconsin laws.
The Wisconsin Attorney General’s office reported that they talked with Scott Foval on the phone but he was not forthcoming. They attempted to talk with Foval in person but he fled the jurisdiction and changed his address.
Our attorney has communicated extensively with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. We voluntarily provided everything they requested. Our journalist gave a voluntary interview to the WI AG. By contrast, Foval slow-walked WI investigator Dorinda Frymiller and conned her into believing he would also give a voluntary interview. He never did. It makes us wonder, as I’m sure it makes the WI AG wonder, what does Scott Foval have to hide?
"Project Veritas was fully cooperative throughout our investigation and produced anything we requested," said Wisconsin DOJ Communications Director Johnny Koremenos.
Without an in-person interview with Foval about his claims of disruption at a Governor Walker event and his claims about busing people in from out of state, the Wisconsin Attorney General apparently does not have enough evidence to press a criminal complaint.
The mainstream media is trying to run with the narrative that just because the Wisconsin DOJ concluded their investigation, our videos “don’t show election fraud.” Nothing could be further from the truth. The burden for a criminal prosecution is extremely high, but if you have any doubt, ask Scott Foval what he meant when he said “It doesn’t matter what the friggin’ legal and ethics people say, we need to win this motherf****r.”
